Have you ever just though of wiring in a key switch and hiding the key fob inside the vehicle, maybe under the console?
I don't work for this particular company, but the car company I work for, doing this would be impossible without proprietary development tools. Our ECU has rolling seed and...
Just saw this -
I wonder if you could retrofit older rockers (or stake the locking pin in the VVL rockers) and run in high lift all of the time.
Hopefully they figure this crap out by the time they built my engine. ?
Precisely - a bad spring -OR- the oil pressure isn't engaging the locking pin and the spring is being overpowered. I can't remember the exact RPM - but our rockers (made by Ina and not Delphi) I think started to jump off the profile around 3K or 4K RPM.
I'm thinking maybe it is a rocker that isn't engaging the locking pin.
We used a similar design at GM where the inner part of the rocker followed the low lift lobe and actuated the valve. While in this mode, the high lift (outer) part of the rocker floated free, riding on the HL lobe, but not...
"Full face cord" (or at least what they call it in Michigan, lol) so, technically, 1/3 full cord?
This came from a 4' high x 8' long rack. And let me tell you - every. single. piece. of that wood is placed by hand and packed tight as it can be. ?
Sorry for the intrusion - but this thread has convinced me I want a heated Mojave wheel in my manual JT.
Does anybody know the correct p/n for the heated version? (or have one to sell?)
Nope, not at all.
One think I've learned in life is that many people don't share my taste in a lot of things - and I try my best not to look down on anyone's choice of automobile.
One of my cars is extremely feminine - you should see the set of hips on it! ?
