I'm not a fabricator/I don't know how to weld, so I'm at the mercy of off-the-shelf mounting solutions and as you may or not be aware, while mounting solutions for compressors are plenty, it's not the case for tanks.
I ordered the 3 gallon first (its coming in today at some point). Once the...
...1. No one makes an actual, non-moving running board/step that works with the Rock Sliders on the Rubicons/Mojaves; 2. I really like the Maximus-3 Rubi Step and wish they made a matching set of running boards/steps for the Rubis/Mojaves (https://maximus-3.com/home/maximus-3-rubi-steps)
I...
Anyone got these for their Gladiator? I recollect a couple of years back they were quite the buzz at SEMA and then had production delays. Would love to hear thoughts (and see pictures?) from those that might have ultimately gone this route.
Currently, I have the standard Warn hook attached to a Maximus 3 hook anchor plate.
I think my plan is to undo the splice and remove the metal thimble. I then plan to re-splice it with a 3/4” abrasion sleeve on the closed loop and store that on my hook anchor.
I kind of like the idea of no...
Picked up the winch plate package with the centering hook, stinger bar and D ring loops from Maximus-3 a few weeks ago. Got some time this past weekend to get it all bolted on and I am very happy with how it all turned out.
I ran into one hiccup with the D ring loops missing a couple bolts...
...I am also OCD, and would like to get a set from a manufacturer who also makes a bed side step. I really like the looks of the @Maximus-3 Rubi Steps, but it does not seem like they make or plan to make a matching set of boards/steps.
I do not want something that hangs down, as I don’t want...
Yea you'll be fine. Those bumpers come with a bracket for the fogs. If you got a takeoff mopar one, you'd probably need the bracket made my maximus-3 but those ebay bumpers come with a bracket. Also if you are going from Halogen to LED, you'll probably need at least a jscan to enable the LEDs...
One would think so - however, do we have a stack-up of tolerances here? A case where over time that race/cup was allowed to turn just enough that it very gradually wore and worked deeper into the tube.......... that could be caused by any one or any combination of things that hold it secure...
google search for close out panels. I believe Maximus 3 has some and there’s a couple guys that make some 3d printed ones on this forum and the JL forum… if I find a link I’ll soot itto ya
Unfortunately, it's a bit of a distance. the compressor is mounted in the wheel well using the Grimm off road bracket with the dual ARB. the tank is located under the bed behind the transfer case using the Maximus 3 air cradle. Ill be using it as just a mounting location for a 3 or 5 gallon...
So i own a rubicon gladiator with halogen fogs and plastic bumper. Here are my fogs i just pulled out. If i want to fit my OEM halogen fogs to either the knock off 3 piece steel bumper or OEM mopar steel bumper these maximus brackets should work?
I sourced my Zeon 8S winch, mount and accessories from my dealer.
The Mopar winch plate seems fairly good. I was able to get the inner bumper bolts tightened up from the top and bottom without a flex socket.
The winch itself had the perfect length of cables for my chosen routing, as shown...
I would recommend the
Maximus 3 stealth mount License Plate holder
Maximus 3 Zeon winch rear filler plates (just for looks for the warn winch)
They look great and are very stout. I hit a tree stump on "John Bull" trail, and when I backed up, I pulled the license plate forward, and the backing...
I have the Warm winch plate too, but I ordered the Maximus-3 stealth plate to see how that looks. I’m not crazy about the way the Warn plate leaves it hanging loose on the bottom.
unfortunately no. Well..there is a veterans group but I dont hang out with them a whole lot cause they're over 2 hours away.... I live in a pretty remote area by most peoples terms. one of my coworkers knows vehicles quite well, as do I. So it's not a issue of figuring it out. Its more of...
