Quick update on the progress. Got most of the Rock Krawler 3" Pro-X No Limits lift done (still waiting on the coilovers), adjustable Fox shocks out back, the 38" Pats & Method Holes all around, and all the steel on this beast. Loaded up the tent and other gear, and took a few trips. Even brought...
Here’s the jeep’s full spec sheet. I would like to thank Josh Balch and the team at Elite Offroad and Performance in Chelsea Alabama for helping me visualize and build this project jeep, which I drive every day.
2020 Gladiator JTR:
Clayton overland plus adjustable control arms front and rear...
Everything above goes back to what I've said from the beginning - pick what works for you and your needs. Both have strengths - both have weaknesses. Not sure why you feel the need to "win" the argument. The OP wanted to know the strengths of both and why people chose one over the other -...
...2020 max tow I had on a spacer lift. it road decent but I think it was on the hairy edge of needing some caster adjustment.
My lift had ironrock Offroad spacers with shock extensions, Rubi Fox shocks and stock max tow springs, I also added Teraflex .5 spacer at some point to even it out...
...shock relocation brackets, rear 3/4” daystar, 35” patriot MT, warn wheels.
I still need to install the 1.5” Fatbobs garage rear spacer and IronRock shock relocation brackets along with long front LCA’s from the Mopar 2” lift kit.
Also awaiting for my adjustable track bar. The axle...
people love to wax poetic about the old 4.0, it was a fine engine for it time, that past it’s time....the 3.6 is not perfect but by far the best engine that has been put in a wrangler, we will see how the new V8 wrangler goes, it might take the crown....as for the diesel, I’ve driven it in the...
Every single one I've had and have seen others have, has had an oil seepage between the block and head, as well as valve cover leaks and rear and front main leaks. And I wish I had a dollar for every 4.0 owner I've talked to who had the infamous cylinder misfire and NOTHING seemed to cure it...
...for the Gladiator I am perfectly fine with a spacer lift, but the only one that is readily available that I can find is the Daystar and IronRock Offroad (IRO). The daystar seems to have mixed reviews (poly bushings on the LCA, seamed sleeves). The IRO doesn't come with swaybar end links...
...front bumper, Rock Hard Offroad Rear bumper, Sliders, Cooper STT Pro 33's, D44A Axle Swap, 4.56 gears, ARB's Front & Rear, Smitybilt Winch, IronRock Offroad front Chromoly shafts, ARB Awning, etc, etc, etc..
When I brought her home:
Now:
The WJ's get shit on, but i'll tell you that...

You're an ex desert racer so you'll likely actually use the Mojave as designed. But the Rubicon can be modified to do anything the Mojave can do and still do trails and rock crawling. And many are modding their Gladiators so upgrading the shocks, reinforcing the axles and steering, etc. can all...
Here is what I come up with
Front Axle Housing Part #
2020 Mojave 68526133AA
2020 Rubicon 68477136AA
2021 Mojave 68526133AA
2021 Rubicon 68477136AA

You can install a MOPAR lift kit yourself. Jack, jack stands, a set of metric wrenches, shallow and deep sockets, ratchet, breaker bar, and a weekend. You can borrow a torque wrench that goes to 250 ft lbs and spring compressors from any auto store (for free upon return). You don’t need a...
...garage rear spacer
-Teraflex front and rear extended bump stops
-Mopar extended LCA’s
-Front Rubicon Express shock relocation bracket
-Rear IronRock shock relocation bracket
-Will utilize JScan to adjust tire size and TPMS settings.
-I went with the new Warn 17x8.5 wheels. I just like the...
Any time you lift the body relative to the axles there will be driveline changes - whether you do it with new springs or spring spacers is irrelevant. If you lift 2" with springs and need new LCAs and a track bar, you will need the same with spacers
Thanks. I agree that it’s confusing and crazy that we don’t have confirmation yet! You’d think that Jeep would highlight the thicker axle tubes on their press materials if it were truly the case as seems like a pretty big deal. Hoping Benny can add some clarity. The fronts will be different for...
Four wheeler also states that the Mojave has thicker tube walls at 10MM, BUT...also states that both models now share the third generation axles with 10MM tube walls, but the front difference is the Mojave has the cast iron ends versus aluminum on Rubicon, and they go on further to say they both...
