I have a max tow and I’m about to throw on the ironRock 2” spacer lift and put the front rubi springs on. Do you remember which front rubi spring goes on which side ?
I’ve been looking at a lot of geometry correction stuff and trying to better understand caster and all that.
Starters I have a 2in ironrock spacer lift and will not be doing any significant off roading, really a mall crawler that will be out on the beach.
I have a slight pull to the right...
Same 2in front and rear made by ironrock off road. I am BEYOND pleased with their lift...best spacer lift ive ever had. no noise, no change from oem drive feel, just good appearance.
Only thing I did was add a 1/4in spacer to the front, between the oem isolator and the front spacer, to give...
...change the actual appearance, but added a little rake so my bed didnt sag with weight in it. Rake also helps a bit with mpg (as far asI know)
ultimately I went with the 2in ironrock spacer lift and am very pleased. Height and feel are perfect...and i too am pretty much all highway and beach.
I had the ironrock 2in lift installed and just wanted to tame the stock rake in the front a little. I redneck engineered an additional 1/4in in the front with spacers from an old lift. Im pleased with the slight difference in height in the front. God willing I stop while I still have money in...
I just had the ironrock 2in spacer lift installed on my max tow and couldn’t be happier. The steel spacers make zero noise and the ride is the same as stock. The spacers also wont sag or degrade under weight and time since i will be towing with my max tow. Cheap and very high quality. Im...
I also want to get a load bearing rear springs and better shocks but have not located anything. I’m running the ironrock off road steel spacers from and back. Now
...I live in the PNW and we don't get much snow but they like to salt the roads...so the stock tires will still get used. I like the idea of the Mopar lift but I don't want to drop $1500 on it so to start out I'n just going to do a 2" spacer lift by IronRock and use the stock Fox shocks etc.
I'm installing the IronRock offroad 2" lift. I wasn't super pleased with the customer service. Took a week to get my package out the door after I called them and they didn't realize the shocks I got with it were back-ordered. Long story short I ordered a different set from them and on the day...
For 37s? Maybe. I have heard mixed reports on 35s and stock sport rims on a stock Sport Max Tow (no spacers, no lift). Should have mine on Tuesday or Wednesday and will go wheeling Saturday
Thanks. I think I might go this route since I'm not gonna rock crawl mine and planning to just add ironrock 2 1/2" spacer lift until the 3 yr warranty and start getting crazier from there. But wheel spacers is a must to clear. I hope the towing is not gonna be that bad.
What setup are running...
...will fit the stock 17x17.5 rims while saving some money for new rims? or do I go for 37x12.5 now on stock rims now? Planning to install 2.5" ironrock spacer lift and wheel spacers to get the back spacing needed. I'm not gonna do crazy offroad but a homedepot rig and occasional boat towing...lol
Opinions vary on which is best. I think the answer is which off road task do you want your vehicle to accomplish (climbing vrs desert running) and go from there. Those JTs with steering issues don’t seem to Have a single common issue and I’m not blaming SFA. Just saying the current competitors...
