  1. MOPAR VS IRON ROCK LIFT

Just looked at the AEV set up. Its more comple than the Iron Rock. With the Sway Bar End Links, bumpstops and programmer it makes it worth the difference in price. It says it has a September 24 ship date. Might wait around and see if thats accurate. If they are, I prefer that choice. Plus an...
  2. MOPAR VS IRON ROCK LIFT

I did a Teraflex 6 inch long arm on my JK. Then it turned into a money pit and never rode nice again. I was a Dutch boy trying to plug all the problems it caused. Dont want the same thing again. The Gladi rides super nice and I'd like to keep it that way. Just want a little more space...
  3. MOPAR VS IRON ROCK LIFT

...ones out there now, but you are right you will end up spending more money to address all the unresolved issues with the Mopar kit. The Iron Rock is a spacer lift and should not change driveline geometry. Can't say for certain but I'm waiting for an AEV spacer lift which appears to be on...
  4. MOPAR VS IRON ROCK LIFT

...over 2k and I still need to pay someone to install it cause I don't have the facilities to do it myself. On the flip side, I could add an Iron Rock 2 inch lift which its brackets and spacers. Maybe an adjustable track bar. Everything for less than $500 and I can do the work myself. I don't...

  6. Took Delivery of Your JT? Sign in Here!

So, I'm the new guy. My wife has always wanted a Wrangler and I gave in. We have a business that requires hauling of pallets of wood which we do with our F150. She also has to haul small pieces of wood so the Gladiator was the perfect Jeep for her. Problem is, I drove it a few times and I...
  7. Alloy USA or Tera flex.....or best leveling kit for JTR???

I had the alloy usa and was happy. I ended up getting the iron rock 2in front and rear kit so i have all the lift I need and maintained the rake for towing. Worth taking a look at their product imo.
  8. Overland owners who switched to 35 & 37 tires

I'm running Falken 35's (285/75/R18) at 36 PSI on the stock 18 inch rims with a 2 inch Iron Rock lift with DT8000 shocks. You can see the thread here: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/iron-rock-2-inch-lift-kit-installed.28591/ No sluggishness and getting between 19 and 21 mpg...
  9. New to lift kits - Need help with choosing the right one

Iron rock off road’s 2in spacer kit or AEV 3in spacer Kit. Inexpensive and good quality. Why spend $1,500 if you dont have to

  12. 2” Iron rock spacer lift/partial rubi takeoff swap, affect on towing capacity?

sounds like we have a similar set up! I went with a forest River that’s heavier than yours. I ended up going with it because the model was just where we wanted to be. Also decided on going bigger because a guy was in there that pulled the same model with his Tacoma said he’s been pulling his all...
  13. Odd suspension sag

I have the iron rock 2in spacer lift (steel spacers) and an extra 1/4in spacer in the front. Measured I had about 7/8th in rake immediately after the lift. After a little bit of time it settled in to 1in rake and stayed there. A couple days ago I put in the MPP lower control arms and haven’t...
  14. 2” Iron rock spacer lift/partial rubi takeoff swap, affect on towing capacity?

I also have a max tow with iron rock lift, just not the rubi tires. I put a deposit on a 3,900lbs dry weight travel trailer two days ago and it should be in within the next couple weeks. Ill let you know how it goes. I don’t think the changes will make a notable difference in tow capacity. You...
  15. 2” Iron rock spacer lift/partial rubi takeoff swap, affect on towing capacity?

My current set up is a max tow, takeoff 19 rubi rims, 285/75r17s wildpeaks (close to 34s), Fox steering stabilizer, iron rock 2” spacer lift, also put on JT rubi shocks and front springs. Any ideas on the affect on towing capabilities besides weight of things added (maybe 70 lbs)? honestly it...
  16. Max tow with Fox shock take offs TO Iron rock 2” spacer lift and front rubi springs

ill take 2in iron rock spacer 1/4in additional front spacer 285/75/17 tires in rubi take off rims
  17. Max tow with Fox shock take offs TO Iron rock 2” spacer lift and front rubi springs

Very nice! I’ve also been absolutely pleased with my iron rock lift. All I did was ad an additional 1/4in spacer above the front steel one to bring the font end a little higher but leave some rake since I’ll be towing. Over all very happy with it.
  18. Max tow with Fox shock take offs TO Iron rock 2” spacer lift and front rubi springs

Just installed the iron rock 2” spacer lift on my max tow. When I installed the new spacers I decided to go ahead and throw on the front rubi take off springs. The front springs took out much of the rake, so that front end is close to 3” higher total. About 2.8 inches. Took me about 3 hours to...
  19. Rubicon to Sport S suspension swap

    Exactly what @ShadowsPapa said.
  20. Rubicon to Sport S suspension swap

Normally the higher part number is on the right side. Two examples of JT Rubicon spring numbers (both are rear spring numbers) - 450/451 - 451 would go on the right 449/450 - 450 on the right
