My goal is to have the sound just a little clearer/louder. I listen mostly to 70s 80s rock, but anything can be heard occasionally coming from my radio, and of course the odd talk radio bit as well.
I'm toying with this upgrade package:
KICKER 47KEY200.4 SMART 4CH AMLIFIER WITH AUTO DSP 50X4...
It did lock down - there was a spring-loaded pin on each side that sat in the sidewall at the tailgate that you had to pull out to have it swing over. Then the pin re-engaged into the same hole, if I remember correctly. And removing it was pretty straight forward as well.
I had a Ford Explorer SporTrac some time ago, and the factory bed extender was a thing of beauty. Here's a quick video showing the simplicity:
I wish the Gladiator had one that worked like this.
The MOPAR soft roll up tonneau won't fit over this? I can see it not fitting with tonneau covers that use the rails, but the soft tonneau just rests on the lip.
I've replaced my Oracle skid plate lights with a lightbar. Now I've got 9 (6 are probably usable) lights and bunch of rusting steel they are mounted to sitting in my shed doing nothin'. I've got a Voswitch power block (JL300) with 5 empty channels. I was thinking of mounting one of the lights...
I finally got the @Diode Dynamics SS30 light bar (amber combo configuration) installed. Removing those nuts on the bumper brackets is not easy. Everything else was a piece of cake. The Voswitch power block made almost all the accessory wiring that comes with the light bar unnecessary. I...
I've been trying to find an "easy remove" chase bar with a quick disconnect for lighting, but I haven't found anything. I switch the hard top and soft top in the winter and summer and I do not want to disassemble the entire chase bar when I do that. So I'm following this thread!
I built a similar kind of rolling tray. I'm not sure how far you need to roll yours, but adding some kind of handle (even just a rope thing) helped mine. I need to roll mine out of my driveway, over my deck, across the lawn, and into a shed.
I've got condensation now as well as rust. They worked really well in the bad weather, when they worked. But the condensation now seems like it's tripped a failure of some kind. I'm replacing with the "above bumper" SS30 from Diode Dynamics.
I've ordered the @Diode Dynamics SS30 (single - amber - combo). It'll take a couple weeks to get here. I need to uninstall the @ORACLElights Skid Plate lights which were quite functional but 3 of the lights now have moisture inside them and they've stopped turning on (yes it could be a fuse -...
From a functional point of view, living in Canada, those headlight recesses look they'd catch even more snow than the factory headlight recesses. And with LED Lighting, it does not melt. Otherwise, I don't mind the look too much. I would like fog lights (operated as per factory switches) and...
I swap the hard top and soft top every spring/fall. I'd love a chase bar that accommodates the Mopar Soft roll up tonneau cover, and can easily separate from the bed of the truck at around the height of the bed level, allowing easy top swapping. Assuming the bar has lights (side facing like...
Most western (north western?) European post secondary education is free for the student. When I lived in Sweden (95-98), the Income tax rate was around 57%. I'm unsure how the funds were distributed to the schools, but I'm pretty sure all the institutions were state owned. So picking your...
