I'm torn between a new rear bumper (with a built in step for easier bed access a la Body Armor 4x4) or new replacement speakers for the 7" non-Alpine interior. In either case I know I won't stop. A new front bumper will attach itself if I get a new rear bumper; or an amplifier will attach...
I've got a dealership appointment tomorrow for this exact same thing - the driver side proximity just stopped working. We'll see what they charge me to get it done. Johnston Chrysler in Hamilton if anyone is interested - So far their service has been stellar - and I'm not associated in any way.
I've a 2021 Overland (3.6 gasser). I've taken it on a newbie run one time, in the spring of 2022. There were some seriously deep water sections (there were high level water marks in the bed at the back). I had the diff fluid changed at 37,000 km (23,000 mi), and now it's in for a "peace of...
Mildly off topic, but...... With all the interchangeable parts on the JT and JK and JL exteriors, I'm surprised an Autism charity hasn't put together an "Autism-puzzle-piece Jeep" for a charity raffle. Each door a different colour; the freedom panels 2 more different colours.
I wonder if a "marine" type company could "re-cloth" the soft top frame? Using a tan material of course. They'd need to do the pillars and the window too, so maybe not worth it as a "one off".
Sorry, I don't have a decent "glamour" shot.... These are the stock 18" size that comes on the Overland

I just had my '21 JTO rustproofed. There's a lot of brine in the winter up here on the roads. The garage that did mine used a version of Dominion Sure Seal. Marked as No Drop and Rust Check Approved. They used the Amber/Clear version. I can confirm it did not drip. I've no idea if it's...
I just had my '21 JTO (80,000 km or 50,000 miles) door hinges replaced for the rusting issue under warranty. No questions asked. They did take it in for over 5 business days though. I thought that was a bit extreme. But the RAM 1500 with the 5.7 rental they provided me with for the entire...
Gladiator is in the shop for some rust work (door pins and hinges) and the dealership provided me with a rental - a RAM 1500 with the 5.7 for the week. I travel about 130 km (80 miles) back and forth to work. There are obviously no mods to the RAM. Jeep/Stellantis really missed out not...
It looks like the Overland has it's standard 18" rims and the Freedom has it's standard 17" rims. I've got an Overland and absolutely love it. But if you are going to consider a tire upgrade in the future, I think the 17" rims offer more flexibility.
I've a friend who uses a Gobi similar to this on his JLU, and he loves it. Personally, I do not have a roof rack.

I'm looking for a chase bar that is relatively quick to disassemble so I can move it out of the way when I swap tops in the spring and fall. Bonus if someone can help me with a quick disconnect of any electrics I add to the chase bar, like lights. I'll be attaching them to my VoSwitch, if that...
