It'll be fine. My Dometic has been running essentially nonstop since 2016 in the back of my Jeeps and bed of Jeep since then, through all temperatures from 10 degrees to 119 degrees with no issues. I even take mine through the car wash, and it has been covered in snow :)

This definitely did happen. I work in the oil/gas industry and in April/May 2020 we cut about 90% of our workforce. Everyone who wasn't cut went on rotational layoffs. It was pretty bad, but luckily didn't last too long. However, we've never grown back to where we used to be.
