  1. My door and top storage DIY solutions.... cart and hoist.

I did’t use that one because of low clearance on my ceiling and needed to put the winch on the wall.....your choice needs to mounted to the ceiling and lift strait up. It will be more than sufficient if you have the clearance (Tall ceiling)

  3. Seat Jackers = best mod yet! For big guys!

I wasn’t thrilled with the price either, but the quality of the product and production, and final result are well worth it. They are manufactured very well and do the job well.

I installed a set of Seat Jackers on my drivers seat......for anyone over 6ā€˜ or so and wanting some thigh support these are GREAT! 8. Silly door harness hack....

This seems to work on the front door harness very well. Simply take the body mounted plug loose from the mounting point and leave it loose. This makes lining up the plugs and pins, and examining the pins for straightness very easy! The plug still fits fine behind the trim panel Loose and I...

The 285/75 falkens are great. Super quite and great ride.
  10. My door and top storage DIY solutions.... cart and hoist.

Main bar is 72ā€, front straps are 32.5ā€ each and rear straps are 39ā€ each. All strap measurements are center of metal grommet to center of metal grommet. The main bar at 72ā€ gives you a nice handhold on each end for guiding. straps are mounted 3ā€ from each end of the main bar.

  13. When do larger tires require larger brakes ?

Vehicle weight would play a much bigger part in overwhelming the current brake system. Now, that all said, you can go to bigger brake rotors and performance pads and INCREASE braking, but its completely unnecessary with 35 to 37 inch tires.
  14. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

No pics.....Installed Tazer Lite to reset tire sizes and disable ESS. I had to totally reload all the firmware to get the Tazer to function so what should have been a 15 minute deal turned into an hour and a half after multiple attempts with original download. It was a bit annoying, but I’m...
  15. When do larger tires require larger brakes ?

Larger (taller and wider)tires will actually give you a bigger contact patch if proper air pressures are used and may actually increase braking ability. More rubber on the ground, better stopping. There are LOTS of variables that affect braking and traction.
  16. Gladiators on Mopar 2" Lift Kit

Ride quality is damn near the same as completely stock...maybe better. The Fox Shocks are a big improvement over stock. I used the Rough Country Adjustable. Its fine for what I needed. Its probably not the most heavy duty, but it adjusts easily And for my ā€œbeach buggieā€œ its more than sufficient.
  17. Does size matter!?!

It drives great with the Mopar lift (fox shocks included) and the Falkens. Rides as smooth as before the lift and the Falkens are good riding tires.
  18. Does size matter!?!

She better be good at,and like climbing the jeep! My 2ā€ Mopar kit And 285/75/18 Falkens raised mine close to 5 inches total and its a stretch to get in without the step down boards and I’m 6’2 and the wife is 5’8. You are talking about 3-4 more inches than mine with 37’s and a 4+ inch lift....
