Bumper is coming this week. I’ve never had a winch and will probably rarely use it. I’m looking at the Rough Country 9500 with synthetic line for $399, the Badlands Apex for $480, or the Smittybilt 9.5 or 10k . In reality, just wondering if the Apex is with the extra $100. It does seem to...
Well, I did several "Make Offer" bids on ebay. They were all rejected as "being too low", the last one was $4 less than "Buy It Now". So, I did the buy it now. Be here next week. I'll then see about the skid plate.

I bought and used this. It gets good reviews.
I would guess that some company will find a way to "unlock" all features with a plug in device like a Tazer. Obviously, this could make it great for those inclined to find those services.
Yes, give me the truck with every feature, but I only want to pay for the base vehicle. $200 "device"...
I sprayed in the Raptor Liner product in the bed of my gladiator. You can buy the kit for @ $130 online. It came with 4 liters of product. I'm not sure how one could do a full size truck, but it worked fine for the 5' bed. I stripped everything off and sanded. Then taped and covered. Plenty...
I have a Rubicon with plastic bumper. Looking at an EAG Bumper. I contacted them and they said I had to run their front skid plate. I used search and can't find specifics, but I thought many were able to run stock skid pad with EAG type bumpers.
Thanks for any experience with this.
Both leather seats and katzkins use the same kit for the a.c. seats. It apparently is one for some manufacturers. The kit is pretty straight forward and works great, especially in Florida on a hot and humid dat.
I would look for the aluminum carrier as they weigh less and easier to handle.
Next check the actual hitch. The hitch, class 1,2,3,4,and 5 have ratings. That rating is what you need to be concerned with. Obviously the tow and payload ratings are well under.
I've had the RC hard tri fold for 5 months now. I'm very happy with it, good fit, keeps rain and people out. Sits flush with the bed. For the price ( I bought for $550) I think it is the best bang for the buck.
