I purchased the Maximus 3 Overland Bed Rack and it did not come with installation instructions. Searched their website and online with no luck. Anyone happen to have them?
Oh, OK. Are you guys relocating your antenna because of the wireless signal being hampered by the camper? I thought it was a shark fin type antenna that was physically going to be interfering with the camper that hangs out over the cab.
...a rounded rectangle about the size of a deck of cards or so. AFAIK all JL/JTs have the stock antenna
I used this relocation kit:

See their instructions or YouTube if you want more...
I use a rubber mallet to tap out the pins from my Maximus-3 tow loops, but I don't have to drive them out.
I'm using a Falcon All-Terrain tow bar, perhaps that makes the difference.
Kevin
...because I kept re-checking and it didn't get any more loose I risked it and got home fine.
All-in-all guys I do NOT recommend using the Maximus-3 Tow Loops. I think a conventional base plate bolted to the frame is both more reliable and much easier to use. Removing the through-pins after...
Taken off at 7500 miles. Great Condition and minimal wear if any. Recently bought a new bumper and have no use for this one. Comes with factory fog lights, skid plate, Maximus 3 winch plate and all necessary hardware. Asking $850 obo! Located in Norfolk/VB/Hampton Roads area.
...exactly the way I did. Most seem to be solving for a stubby bumper situation which I was not. Thought my lesson learned might help others.
Maximus-3 has fog light guards listed for their bumper. A lot of their parts fit the Mopar bumper as well so I emailed them asking if this part would fit...
How was the sample taken? From the top through the dipstick tube, or opening the drain and taking the first bits that come out?
The first is good, the latter is not a good place to take a sample. If taking a sample out the bottom, let the oil run out a bit first. Never take the first oil that...
See...yeah. My frustration reading what you had to go through is obviously NOTHING compared to what you had to go through with either the $$$ tied up in a vehicle you couldn't use or while going through this you were still making the payment. It's times like this that I get real quiet.
Back...
I would not worry at all about those numbers you've seen. Any good 0w20 is going to perform fine in a Pentastar unless it is abused in some way, and by abused, I mean abused.
Running a 5w30 and seeing the viscosity shear or drop down into 20w territory probably wouldh't hurt a thing, but the...
If I missed it I apologize, but what's the baseline viscosity requirement that's driving you to make this change? It's entirely possible that it wants to be below, not above, the mark you've set. Who's to say the range isn't supposed to be 7.5-8.5? Sounds like that might be entirely plausible...
It’s really strange the skis and snowboards haven’t killed it. Is it on the passenger side? My Kuat ski racks are on driver 2/3. I moved the cross bar really far back yesterday but haven’t tested yet. It used to be as far forward as it could be on the main hard top, meaning not on the freedom...
Yep.. its a thing.
Maximus-3 makes a relocation bracket to move the antenna to just over the driver side sun visor.

Maximus-3 makes a roof rack that will work with the top off and I believe adventure rack system will work with top off as well.
I installed the maximus-3 rack last fall and haven't ran with the top off yet. Few more weeks and I'll be trying it out.
Maximus-3 remakes a relocation bracket that moves the antenna from above the sound bar to above the driver side sun visor. Not "outside" but gets it out of the way of roof mounted racks, tents tents ....

I’m guessing it was made with the ARB twin mounting pattern in mind, it looks like it would match up with a universal ARB bracket. If not a direct match, it would be relatively easy to drill some holes in the bracket to fit this new compressor.
Biggest hassle is mounting. Everyone makes mounts for the ARB will this work? I was gifted a Viair industrial compressor so I am looking for a way to mount it. Maximus 3 makes a setup but I don't trust the unit being under the gladiator.
Just realized that your build is what drove me towards rokblokz. Great looking Jeep!
Update on the Maximus-3 XLP Hoop. Ultimately decided against it. Cancelled the flag mount and returned the hoop. Will be sticking with this setup. I prefer the lower profile of this setup.
