Running a RTT at the same time as top off?

I’ve been searching for anything similar to a setup where someone has their RTT on while their hardtop is off ?

I’ve picked up a used skycamp 2.0 but love to run the gladiator topless May - September. The skycamp is pretty long and extends above the rear passenger.

it’s seems like a bit process to put on the hardtop and the tent every time I want to go summer camping.

Does anyone have experience with this?

Maximus-3 makes a roof rack that will work with the top off and I believe adventure rack system will work with top off as well.

I installed the maximus-3 rack last fall and haven't ran with the top off yet. Few more weeks and I'll be trying it out.

Look at exposed racks they have a bar system that is much stronger without the hardtop.

I have my RTT on 24/7/365 (at least for now) and have run without the freedom panels but haven't taken the whole top off. We are in the process of building a new house with much more space for hobbies, so I am planning on putting on a hoist in my hobby garage so I can pull my camper/RTT off whenever I want.

You're running the wron rtt. I think a skycamp mini might work for you if you want to take the top off.
