I love my whole setup that includes a Gen 2 decked system (1 large drawer) permanent camper shell with built in RTT, fridge in the back seat with Goosegear rear seat delete. It is easy to setup and tear down.
I have no issue with driving around with my full setup. Not often, but I have had...
Ok, just to add a bit to this for future searches. Here is what GROK had to say about it. Good info.
Yes, they are interchangeable for your 2020 Gladiator Rubicon. The core dimensions (thread, shoulder, and engagement length) match closely enough that the 926-173 fits and functions without...
Ok, bringing back an older thread here. I just had this same question and came across Dorman part number 926-173. This is the same bolt that is used for the Wrangler until 2018 it looks like. It is about $11 for 3 of them. I ordered these and they fit without issue. They do have a different...
I don't have a a tazer but definitely need to get one. Don't know if any fault codes are happening but can see the light on the dash that says "service 4wd system". I turn the Jeep off, turn it back on and it is all good.
Yes, lockers are engaging without issue (verified on a recent trip in CO). Able to drive normally with Offroad+, all lockers, etc but in 4 low, when I hit the disconnect, it throws the dash light.
Can run in 4low as long as I want to, but after I hit the sway bar disconnect, it throws a message "service 4 wheel drive system".
I can use the sway bar disconnect in 4hi without issue so sway bar disconnect is working properly, it just doesn't want to play nice with 4low.
I almost always flip it into manual mode when descending, especially in a group. I just feel that I have that much more control without having to constantly ride the brakes.
Have had my 2020 Rubicon 3.6 for a bit over a year now and have put about 16000 miles on it during that time and they have been flawless.
However I was driving the other day and just flipped over to see the coolant temperature and noticed that it was hovering right around 220. A bit warm for my...
Solar panels installed, went back and forth over a few different configurations but decided to run them both on the passenger side to make running the wires a bit easier. Output is strong and pretty much keeps my alternator from having to do much work at all.
Am still doing some wiring for...
No, my RTT covers the entire area up to the freedom panels. I have heavy duty struts available for the tent if needed, but since the panels will be near the front where it hinges up, doubt they will be needed.
I have my RTT on 24/7/365 (at least for now) and have run without the freedom panels but haven't taken the whole top off. We are in the process of building a new house with much more space for hobbies, so I am planning on putting on a hoist in my hobby garage so I can pull my camper/RTT off...
Good question. The panels weigh 14 pounds so together it would be about 28 pounds total. Going to be mounting them from the side railing to keep the bulk of the weight off of the actual roof itself.
Been planning and piecing together the stuff needed for a solar system install and now comes the fun part of finally getting to put it all together.
A bit about my rig. I have a home made (friend built) camper/RTT with a Decked drawer system. I currently have a Genesys dual battery system...
