Yep, it is just a bolt. But it is sort of critical, since there are only three bolts holding each hub to the knuckle. If you don't replace it with an OE bolt, at least use one of equivalent strength, thread pitch, and length.
Ok, bringing back an older thread here. I just had this same question and came across Dorman part number 926-173. This is the same bolt that is used for the Wrangler until 2018 it looks like. It is about $11 for 3 of them. I ordered these and they fit without issue. They do have a different head than the original ones that came on the Gladiator. After I had ordered these and installed one of them to replace one, I noticed that the part number that is specified for the Gladiator is actually 68396708AA. It appears to be the exact same bolt just with a different head and is going for about $65 each.
Not sure why there would be such a drastic difference in price. I did confirm that the wrangler and gladiator have the same unit bearing so it makes sense that the bolts would fit.
Ok, just to add a bit to this for future searches. Here is what GROK had to say about it. Good info.
Yes, they are interchangeable for your 2020 Gladiator Rubicon. The core dimensions (thread, shoulder, and engagement length) match closely enough that the 926-173 fits and functions without issues. Jeep's JL/JT front suspension shares significant architecture with the JK (e.g., Dana 44 axles on Rubicon), so the bolts are functionally equivalent despite the generational update. Many owners and forums report using JK-era replacements like the 926-173 on JL/JT models successfully, with no reported failures when torqued properly.
