I’ve been searching for anything similar to a setup where someone has their RTT on while their hardtop is off ?
I’ve picked up a used skycamp 2.0 but love to run the gladiator topless May - September. The skycamp is pretty long and extends above the rear passenger.
it’s seems like a bit...
Update: ended up lifting back in May with Mopar 2.5 and 35 BFGs on method wheels … bed liner and rockhard patriot sliders (exactly what I was looking for). It has the quadratec summer doors on it now too… OEM rubber mats and a few other goodies.
Have not read through the thread yet. But easy that wheels, tires, lift, rock rails Bedliner and doors, summer top… now + 8k …. still to come - rack, bed cover, bumpers … rtt puts us around 20k over stock … and still want gearing 37s, LEDs on board air…
No absolutely not - I bought a stock sport knowing I could / was going to add 20k in mods. I could get a whole lot more vehicle for my money if I was not build it for what I wanted.
I just finished putting on some rockhard patriot bars. The Body bolts stressed me … but no problems except for a bashed thumb. I did have to drill out a few of the pinch weld holes.
I drove my f150 from 2013 until around month ago ( only had 45k on it) , I was on the waiting list for the Ford bronco but it wasn’t coming anytime soon… my brother knew I was selling the f150 so he asked to buy it and lend it to me if I ever need to tow/ so now best of both worlds. The truck...
This is what I’m trying to find desperately I’d love to get the combo of the Yakima outlander / adjustable height and the x4 this would give me the ultimate in flexibility and utility.
Yes the team there made it quick easy in and out… I test drove the sport they had there, I was leaving town so I put my deposit down and came back the next week and picked it up that night. I also ended up using their accessories department.
Peterson folks were nice & they did have a couple of...
Funny also Idaho here. I checked out Peterson’s too… when I told them what I was looking for around 37k; (sport S or less) - they lost much interest in emailing me back what they had available. I also just needed to go 15 min west.
I drove both models back to back to me the sport with stock springs and suv tire 31s felt more floating cushion then the rubicon… after adding the Mopar lift and 35 bfg the ride felt much improved. I was worried about the gearing / but all was good until I decided to go up to 37.
After owning 2 Jeep’s for over 13 years I’ve had my 2013 f150 which I liked a lot! the opportunity to sell the truck to my brother came sooner then I was hoping but it’s been a great truck and it would mean I’d still had access to it if I sold to him. I was on the Bronco list since day 1...
We Bought our sport with auto and hard top for 35 have put 5k more into it so far and love it… I still have a budget for $ 7k more to put into it before it even matches up with the starting price of the rubicon we test drove. I found it was hard to go against wanting the biggest best option on...
