I didn't know about max tow when I got mine so I made sure it had the limited slip, HD cooling, and bigger alternator. Mine has everything except the 4.10 ratio (5.13 now) and wide axles. Other than towing, do the axles help with anything else?
I had a Mini Cooper S with a 6 speed that I had done a lot to and was pushing a lot of power for a tiny car like that. I loved doing what I could to give it that little bit more. When it was time to get something else I was looking at more muscle and sports cars and then I drove a Bronco and...
Lol I didn't even notice. I would love to have a high altitude but a bit beyond my price range for something I'm gonna run trails with. How does the suspension ride compared to other JTs? Idk if you've driven other trims
I'm the same way. Mine has 22k miles and I bought it with 20k. My wife asked the other day "you just bought it, why do you have to go work on it every day?" I know exactly why the previous owner got rid of this one but I truly enjoy solving it's problems and understanding that truck. Also I...
Alright so first question is does anyone have this and if so, what are your thoughts?
Second question is can I use it with the sway bar link my Mopar lift came with? Seems redundant to buy a whole kit to just put what is basically a shock on one side. Also would keep me from having to cut the...
I did 185 on it as I couldn't physically get it any tighter while laying on my back lol.
I still have a bit of wobble when driving. Assuming it's the drag link but I'll look at the bushings when I get home today and my wife can wiggle the steering wheel
I think I figured it out for the most part. The nut on the sector shaft was so loose it nearly fell off when I took the brace off to retorque it. Slobbed some red loctite on and torqued it down. Drives great. Still pulls so thinking of adjustable lower control arms and taking it in to get it aligned
I live in NC and in the city I live in, you barely see gladiators. Every now and then I'll see one but you go 2 towns over and every 6th car is a gladiator. Depends where you live. I mostly see 4 door wranglers and some 2 door but compasses and renegades are everywhere
Congratulations! For me it was between the Gladiator, Rebel, and Power Wagon. Really didn't need that big of a truck though. Good luck with retirement!
Got into the tire shop today. Wheels were out of balance. It definitely drives better. Thanks to everyone.
However, it's still not completely right.. the steering feels looser than it did before taking it off road and there's like a ghost of a death wobble. Not full on death wobble but a small...
Alright so it was daylight yesterday after work for once and I found the weights on the wheel. The passenger side definitely has way more than the driver side but it didn't look clean anywhere like they had fallen off. Still going to get it checked out Monday though.
I did just think of...
I'm pretty new to all this as well but my Mopar lift is the same way with stock linkage. Just have a yeti track bar. I've heard a lot of people say the Mopar lift feels better than the stock shocks.. I've never drove a stock sport really so I don't have anything to compare to but I did drive...
The fan did keep it cool, I just had to force it at full blast with my tazer. It's still under warranty so maybe when I get some time I'll take it by the dealer, doubt they'll do anything though.
2HI was fine for the whole trip on the highway or trails. Just seems to be 4HI that I know of
