Just picked up my base Sport model. Yes Bigfoot does exist. Took way too long and they ended up not having enough time to install my hard tonneau or my step bars. But the sales guy and I put on my Bestop Sunrider. Grab handles fit easily around the roll bar. Going back tomorrow to get the...

Just got a text message from my dealership to let me know that my truck just arrived on their lot. They will have it ready for me to pick up this afternoon. Will post pictures of it this afternoon.
That box is part of the optional trail rail system. Can’t get that option on the base Sport model truck. Can only order it on Sport S, Overland and Rubicon models.
I can only agree with you. Jeep just does this to confuse people. And it works. They really should have had 4 different and distinct names for the 4 different models, not two with almost the exact same names, my humble opinion.
In addition to the power windows, mirrors and locks there’s a few...
Hey @steffen707 please see this post (and others of mine) in the thread Front grab handles with Bestop Sunrider. These are the only coat hangers that I know of for a Gladiator. Seller ran out of them and shipped me just the grab handles. Is sending me the coat hangers this week. Have read that...
I ordered these grab handles from EBay. They come with 2 coat hooks. The seller was out of the coat hooks. But he should be sending them to me sometime early this week. Other sellers on EBay have them. And FYI if you look closely you will see that they say that they don’t fit on a Gladiator but...
That truck has power windows, makes it a Sport S, not a base Sport. A base Sport has manual windows. Jeep named them Sport and Sport S in an effort to confuse folks.
Yes you are right. I think I will be the first person in this forum to get a base Sport model truck with manual windows, mirrors and locks and yes mine will have a stick shift transmission. Will not have the tiny little stereo system in it for very long. Plan to quickly put in an aftermarket...
Gotcha @IceAge Am certain that this is the logic in all tire pressure monitor systems. Just need to see if my spare has the sensor or not. If it doesn’t then I will get one for the spare.
Hey @Rollcast thanks for the info. And just FYI I have looked under Sport S trucks, Overlands and Rubicons. And every single one of them had this generic looking steel wheel on it that did not match the other 4 on the trucks. See the attached picture. So I don’t know what “matching full size...
I will advise about this. I think everyone would be interested to know about this for the times when we all get flats. I would frankly be annoyed by my truck telling me that it gets no reading from my spare that is now rolling down the road after a flat change.
Will ask about it and will check out the spare before I leave the lot with my truck. My truck arrived at the destination rail facility yesterday. It’s a 2 hour drive to my dealership. So I am hoping to take delivery of it some time next week. Will get them to lower the spare so I can inspect the...
Does anyone know if the spare tire has a sensor on the air valve for the tire pressure monitoring system? I know lots of people here have replaced all 5 tires and wheels with all new rubber and rims. Just wondering if you had to pick up an additional sensor from your dealerships parts department...
