Just got a text message from my dealership to let me know that my truck just arrived on their lot. They will have it ready for me to pick up this afternoon. Will post pictures of it this afternoon.

That box is part of the optional trail rail system. Can’t get that option on the base Sport model truck. Can only order it on Sport S, Overland and Rubicon models.

That truck has power windows, makes it a Sport S, not a base Sport. A base Sport has manual windows. Jeep named them Sport and Sport S in an effort to confuse folks.

Gotcha @IceAge Am certain that this is the logic in all tire pressure monitor systems. Just need to see if my spare has the sensor or not. If it doesn’t then I will get one for the spare.

I will advise about this. I think everyone would be interested to know about this for the times when we all get flats. I would frankly be annoyed by my truck telling me that it gets no reading from my spare that is now rolling down the road after a flat change.

Does anyone know if the spare tire has a sensor on the air valve for the tire pressure monitoring system? I know lots of people here have replaced all 5 tires and wheels with all new rubber and rims.
