My drivers side sun visor broke a few weeks ago and I haven’t had time to call the dealer or search in the forums. Very annoying that I remember whenever there is sun, I go to bring the visor down and it falls out :headbang:
I did find this thread in the JL forums...
It's taken a lot to get here. But I've finally got a product I can sell!
There is still a lot of work I need to do on the site itself - I still have no logo, brand or marketing. But I figured I'd debut here, start getting some feedback and with everyone's input, I'll get better along the way...
So I'm working on a few different pieces for the gladiator. Some pretty major exterior stuff, and some pretty cool interior stuff.
Here is a peek at some of the interior stuff:
1) This first image is a mounting rail that would go behind the shifter. It's some solid mounting. This is straight...
There's been A LOT going on in my life the last 3 months or so. I did stop posting, mostly because I've been grooming this idea...
Full Disclosure: I'm not just Ralph with a Gladiator anymore. I'm Ralph trying to startup a second business to sell some pretty cool stuff. Very soon in the next...
This is a protoype I'm working on. Simple panel for the lower dash area in front of the shifter. At the moment it is being held up by some velcro and brackets. I'm still working out the final mounting.
The plan is that it will house my iDrive, the G-Screen for my Genesis Dual Battery Kit...
Note sure if this has gone up already... but wow. wow.. wow.

So I've been looking through the parts list and I can't seem to find this particular screw.
Tomorrow I'm going to remove one and just measure it - but I'm curious if anyone with a JL may have discovered exactly what it is. There are 4 of them.
I want some to do some matching of something I'm...
I'm not sure if this got posted elsewhere, but just in case anyone is looking for it in the future:
I'm seeing two part numbers for the toolbox:
6LT89TX7AB
6LT89TX7AC
I don't know why there are two.
A quick search on the internets brings up that they are roughly $800! :surprised::lipssealed:
Both were used maybe for 2 weeks. But I've replaced both with the Genesis Dual Battery Kit.
The Main Battery is equivalent to part #BBAH7700AA - $130
The Aux (ESS) Battery is part #56029759AB - $60
I don't think I can ship. But I can meet you in NJ, maybe PA, maybe even NY.
I was reading this article:

Good one. But that one led me to an even better one:

:CWL::LOL:
There are several threads on the JL Forums covering this - figured I'd create one here to get us started.
There are "emergency" rain covers for when the vehicle is stationary. But, how about for driving?
You went to the beach, freedom tops off, hard top off, maybe the doors are off too, maybe...
Stumbled across this on the jl forums:

I've been thinking... bed racks, toppers, etc...
They make removing the hard top a tad complicated. You now would have to life the hard top up and over the side, front or rear - no so easy. Unless you have some kind of pulley system in your garage, or your 6'5" with a friend or mate who is...

I don’t think this has been posted, but an FYI for anyone considering slide-in campers, from the manual on page 14 under campers:
This vehicle is NOT recommended for slide-in camper applications.
Reply with useful information:
Someone just said that to me today... and it took me a few seconds... oh yea... Jeep Truck!
But, it has been said before on this forum:
(this was about custom license plates)
