  1. Jeep battery and alternator current

    CH1 is N1, CH2 is alternator current, CH3 is starter relay, CH4 is total current (main ground). Note current scale for CH2 and CH4 are not the same. CH2 zero is bottom, CH4 zero in the middle. The current scale at the right corresponds with the color of the channel.

    Jeep sitting for a week, 3-year-old batteries. Top is main, next is aux. I will charge both and rerun the test.
  4. Install auxiliary battery disconnect in 5 minutes

    I added an auxiliary battery disconnect, so now I can check both battery voltages and charge each one separately.
  5. Getting ready for HF moble

    Got the antenna mount on. The antenna is a Comet H-422 HF. The mount has a pivot at the bottom and the tube tilts down to put the mast/antenna up. The mast is 3 sections and the antenna goes up/ down in 5 min and all fits in the bed of the Jeep. This is for camping/ mountain top HF operation.
  6. Yaesu FTM-400 install

    Installing a Yaesu FTM-400 this is the control head have not mounted the transceiver. Any others with radios if so where did you mount the radios and or antennas. I would love to see pictures of other radio installs
  7. The front bumper had to go for a stubby

    I bought this on November 28 , with 200 miles the front bumper had to go wife thought I was nuts. One week after I bought it the front bumper came off and this stuby bumper went on. She loves it , the rear bumper goes next.
