Haha, I understand. I use the software every day so it's like second nature to me.
  2. JT Scrambler (vs JK Wrangler) Frame and Axles

Look at the tab name of the AutoCAD drawing at the top left of the first picture. It says "frame Line Skillet 2D compare to JK"

  4. 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL Hits Dealer System - 1st Official Look @ Engines, Options, Packages, Features!

This would make sense and I agree with all the points you make here. And to alleviate anyone's fears, there is no reason to believe the JL(U) with have any reduced ability to tow when compared to a current JK(U). Hopefully, may me anyway, they are actually able on increase its ability.
  5. 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL Hits Dealer System - 1st Official Look @ Engines, Options, Packages, Features!

That would have to be a mistake... I cant think of a reason why they would not offer it.
  6. Pics of JT Wrangler pickup inside FCA facility

    What boxes would that be?
  7. Is this site owned by FCA?

First, it's a big giant pile of speculation you're spewing here, based on what? Secondly, if your tin foil hat theory was in fact true, the answer would still be no.
  8. Is this site owned by FCA?

And if it is? I dont see any info being released anywhere else.
  9. 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL Hits Dealer System - 1st Official Look @ Engines, Options, Packages, Features!

If i'm not mistaken, you had to have a higher trim level on the Jeep Grand Cherokees to get the 3.0L. I would bet this would be the same.
  10. Detailed Look At The AEV Brute - Might give some hints at the JT

Yes, the US vs UK article linked there is a good read and quite insightful. Realistically, those ratings of your current JKUR and old XJ are probably not an apples to apples comparison. The further back in time you go, the more "loose" mfgs were in regards to their tow ratings.

You have a lot going on in that response.... read this for a bit of insight. http://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/tow-capacity-for-jeep-wrangler-pickup-truck-jt.759/page-2#post-6428

  13. Tow capacity for Jeep Wrangler Pickup Truck (JT)?

I just read over this thread and it makes me realize that a lot of "Jeep guys" may not be very well versed in towing. Engine performance does make a difference with towing, however there are many other factors. As noted with the Tacoma above, the Taco tow package would include Class-IV towing...
  14. JT Wrangler Truck Testing on Public Roads, Shows Spare Tire Mount

I'm not sure what you expect out of a Jeep truck. The bed looks quite similar in length to a Ram 1500 crew cab, short box. Thats a 1/2 ton truck as well. I would guess the JT will compete with the Colorado/Canyon, Tacoma, Frontier, etc... If you want a full size truck, buy a full size truck. If...
  15. Win 2 2018 JL Wranglers From ExtremeTerrain.com!!

I noticed the specs on the 2 Jeeps show one as a diesel. Has this been confirmed?
  16. Titan XD

I had a 1st gen Titan that I used to pull a smaller camper with. Once the wife and I had our 1st kid we decided to sell the camper and then the truck in anticipation of upgrading to a 5th wheel and a truck suited for the job. Now we have two kids and the oldest will be 4 soon. I've been looking...
  17. Titan XD

Since this a non-Wrangler related area, I thought I would post something non-Wrangler related. What are your impressions of the new Titan XD and 5.0L Cummins diesel? Any thoughts on it? I'm part of their forum but would like to hear some info from the non-kool aid drinkers!
  18. Our Latest 2020 Jeep JT Pickup Info and Preview Renderings

No, the JL will be built on the old Cherokee line (retooled of course) next to the JK for 6 months (or so). They will then retool the current JK line to produce the JT, which will be next to the JL line (unless I have misread something of course).
