You said you had the tow package. If my memory serves me correct that didn't come with a heavy duty transmission cooler. Towing across country for long distances probably broke down your tranny fluid due to excessive heat. You could probably benefit from a heavy duty trans cooler, and regearing...
I feel myself looking at Ram's online all day fighting the urge. I am actually buying out my lease tonight on my JT since I did so much work on it. After buying a camper last year and seeing how much more you get for your money in a Ram it's tough. I've had 4 Jeeps over the last 20 years
Looks awesome, I have mine mounted behind the seat as well and the volume doesn't bother me one bit since I'm outside filling the tires. :rock: Can't wait to see the rest of this install.
My Jeep that hole wasn't threaded, Rugged Ridge has a bracket that goes over the bed with a bolt that lines up with the hole. Might work with the Mopar Roll up as well.
2021 Sport S with Max Tow, lifted on 35's with 4.56 gears. Geo Pro 20FBS, pulls pretty good, still screaming in 4th up any type of incline, just something you have to get used to. Averaging 12.5 MPG while towing.
I used to take mine off for the winter and throw a ski/snowboard rack back there. I have since bought a camper and sold the tent. Tent sold in a hour, so if you're selling ask more than you think you should.
