Genuine Mopar Blacked Out LED Headlight

Next thing y'all be asking is can I buy some auxiliary lighting these blacked out lights are to dark.
I mean seriously isn't it an oxymoron?

They're not going to be dimmer. They'll still have a clear lens, it'll just be black inside the housing.

Why?

Just for looks. I think they look pretty good, especially on certain trims and with certain colors.

Do you need to swap out the fogs and turn signal/running lights at the same time? Asking because I assume you need to change to system to be set for led and could get some confusion.

Do not need to swap them out at the same time. I run the OEM front LED turn signal/running light assemblies and halogen headlights. They are separate PID's in the BCM to enable/disable LED functions for those different assemblies.

Its an appearance thing for when the lights are off. it has zero effect on light output.

We had a 4xe loaner for a while that had the blacked out bezels. Looked tough and I definitely would prefer the blacked out version, but the silver looks fine matched against our billet JT. We've somehow made it without them for the past 4 years, although now thinking the blacks would definitely help us get over the rocks better.

Gotcha - seeing is believing. Yup, agree - one SOME it would look good. (not so much on a blue Overland)
Reminds me of when my oldest son said he'd like to take an Eagle wagon Sport model, in black, and darken the windows and such - headlights like that would have thrilled him in his idea. He never did it, but his description of his ideas were cool. Easily done since the sport had all trim blacked out - there was no chrome or anything shiny anywhere on the Sport trim Eagles.
