For the safety of the workers, the plant has been shut down. We were told until April 2nd but nothing has been made official yet. I do apologize for the delay it may cost in the shipment of your new JT
1st, sorry to hear that you have to be in Cleveland for a month.
Jeep plant doesn't give tours anymore.
Guess you could try and sneak in. Just wear a yellow vest and carry a clipboard, no one will even notice ya.
That label is put on by a worker at the supplier.
It's the date and operators number. So if there is an issue with the part, They can trace it back to person who allowed the defective part to be shipped.
Ohh, and if your build date was the day after 4th of July, you're screwed. 1/2 of us were...
Idk if it's Eco but the 3.0 Turbo diesel will be available soon. We have built around 50-60 in the last 3 months. All for testing purposes.
Once the 3.0 is available the current 2.2 diesel will be phased out
Nothing is built during a shutdown.
Jeep has never allowed tours since I have worked there. During 1 shutdown a few years ago they did have a family day at the plant. Each employee was allowed to bring family and friends.
Due to trade secrets, most Automakers don't do public tours...
