So is this strike really happening? If not, i'm content with talking about more plywood, but I don't want to get us off topic.

The union is increasing weekly withholding amounts from $50 to $250 in preparation for strike in January. It increases their bargaining position if they have funds to carry strikers for 30 days. It will affect over 100k UAW members and not just FCA, also includes Ford, GM, and others.

are they increasing witholding from the employees as like a "strike savings account"?

I once belonged to the grocers union. They took my money out of my paycheck and did nothing for me - a 16 year old working a part-time job at $5/hour can't afford to lose 2 hours of pay each week. Too bad there wasn't a Right to Work option in the 90's.

Update. JT is going to critical launch.
80 Units were built yesterday on 1st shift, all white Rubicons . All were built for the Government. So for all who doubted me, **** it.

Unfortunately no, I didn't put my transfer in to go to the JT side. They closed the transfer process in January. Won't open again until JT is out of launch phase

No mention of 60,000 order. No mention of verified 7,000 order that you stated Jeep tossed in the trash can. No mention of any government order. No JT's on dealers lots.
