  1. DEFECTIVE TRANSFER CASE on Diesel Rubicon

That sounds odd for sure. update on mine: Has been working well for two years. Off road trips every 2-3 months. Just went to Big Levels and got the “service 4WD system” on the dash. Taking it in tomorrow.
  2. Ecodiesel Derating issue tracking thread - also please post if NO issues!

JT seems to partially derate when oil temps hit 250ish... I'm getting to 267 pulling the camper up grades in WV-Western Maryland. Dropping to 45-50mph Camper - 3400 dry 3800lb as towed JT- 37s, 3" lift, and another 300Lbs in the bed. ambient temps 75-79F
  3. S&B intake

So, would this CAI be compatible with the hood scoop and can the lower intake be closed off to allow for water fording clearance?? would love to have both options, one for towing and one for wheeling!! Seems like a functional hood scoop would be a great addition to a CAI. of course the...
  4. Bed racks with cover?

Well you nailed it. Looks great. Mine is on and worked well on a trip but it’s not as tight as I’d like. More adjustments. And you’re right it won’t be easy to roll up but it still protects what’s in the bed.
  5. Rusty's JT Gladiator 4" Advanced Kit

Are Rusty's springs linear rate, dual rate, ???? Like the price point especially for mostly road use but occasional off road use. I tow a camper with my Gladiator, so I need durability and a firm stable on-road ride. Any insight would be appreciated.
  6. Bed racks with cover?

Any tips or tricks to dialing in the Lite rider with that rack would be greatly appreciated. Throwing wrenches is not helping.
  7. Bed racks with cover?

Just installed my Xplor full height rack and trying to get the lite rider back on. can you share a few pics of the front and rear corners so I can see where I need to be? thanks
  8. MBRP Filter Back Exhaust and AFE Charge Pipes

Umm, Can we be friends?!? Lucky if my friends buy me a beer.
  9. MBRP Filter Back Exhaust and AFE Charge Pipes

I thought the point of the rubber gasket was to pull COLD AIR from outside the engine compartment making it a CAI??? Please keep us updated as to any gains or response from AFE. Really wish there was a snorkel option with this CAI like the Rugged Ridge low profile situation that piped right...
  10. EcoDiesel GVWR Limiting Factor

Ok So I have Cooper STT Pro 37x13.50X17 E Rated tires. I usually keep them around 32psi and air up to 35-37 when I tow my 4k Lb camper with a bed full of stuff. I have heard people running 25psi and 50+psi.... any suggestions? Coming from a cummins 12v and I kept 50psi but this truck is WAY...
  11. GDE is back and making EPA compliant tune!

Can someone explain differences between PPEI, GDE, Banks tunes. I have been looking forward to GDE tune since before I had the Jeep (Sept 20). But I guess I don't understand the differences between the tunes, what their benefits are, how they are installed and how they affect warranty. My...
  12. Wheels with replaceable ring

Thanks for the bumps! I ended up going with DirtyLife DT2s with Cooper STTPros 37x13.50 Here’s the rub: Wheels: has a replaceable ring but is cheap hollow plastic not solid high density stuff. There is a “rash ring” you can buy separately but it’s just as cheap and flimsy. BUT!! You can make...
  13. JT Diesel Snorkel

Agree, it would be expensive but I just can't with that HUMMER vertical pipe snorkel, it looks homemade as it is. I'm guessing/hoping RR will figure this out.
  14. Exhaust filter nearing full

Also, this is my first modern diesel. The 12v Cummins did not need such things.
  15. Exhaust filter nearing full

Wow. I really expected more info as well. I have almost 5,000 miles and have never noticed a regen. No notification, nothing. Once I came home after pulling the camper and it smelled hot and a bit strange while I was unhitching but no notification. Totally agree if it’s so critical that it goes...
  16. Exhaust filter nearing full

I still have not gotten one. How many miles do you have when you received the notice?
  17. Diesel on the bucket list, did I miss the boat?

Adding my $.02 I own a 2021 JTR EcoDiesel on 37s. I just got back from pulling my 4000lb camper, family and lots of wheeling equipment into the PA mountains to AOAA for a weekend of camping and wheeling. I drive between 65-70 when pulling a trailer and got 13mpg at ~2000RPMs. At only one point...
  18. Ecodiesel on the Dyno. 3.73s with 37s

For 35s I would NOT regear. I have 37s and EcoDiesel and it keeps 8th gear pretty well. Torque comes in very low 1500-1700rpms so, you aren't at high RPMs to turn the tires on the highway and definitely not off road. I would recommend that you drive it for a while before doing it. Some ppl...
  19. Motor Trend's Full Overview (12/8/2020) is "Scary" (not good)

Not using a weight distribution hitch with sway control on a 5,000+lb camper is dumb. However, I'm dying to get my more reasonable 23ft, 3,700lb camper behind my EcoDiesel Gladiator and start hitting the western Maryland/WV mountains bc I just can't see this thing "running out of breath"...
  20. Finally!

It absolutely beautiful! But I may be biased. ;)
