it took them 6 weeks but i finally got my soft top!!!!

took delivery 6/21 and remain empty handed with no eta from either dealer or jeep customer care :(

has anyone taken a recent delivery of a soft-top only config? or are all soft-tops on hold? anyone have any idea what's going on (quality issue, re-design, other)?

anyone else run into this issue when ordering the dual top option? i took receipt of my truck but when i came out of finance they told me they had not received the soft top (apparently it ships separately). its been over 4 weeks now and no one can tell me when i'm going to receive my soft...

engine calibration is likely unique, whatever module controls hill hold is likely unique (brake controller probably), the cluster is unique (on the software side, for no PRNDL display), trans mounts are likely unique. all of the software stuff is probably end of line calibration but the...

modern production lines don't get 'swapped out' for different transmissions....more likely there's a part availability issue (and not necessarily the trans itself--could just be something related to the manual config).

easy answer if you're leasing. if you're buying, that's another story (ask troutman)...

absolutely agree....in a 911 or other sportscar. but not this dog. also, are you sure about the manual getting better mpg on the highway? sure, that was true when autos were 3 speeds....but this has an 8 speed (vs the manual 6). i'm too lazy to look up gear ratios....maybe someone else can...

Can anyone else confirm this? I've had different reports from different dealers and not sure I believe it.....it's not a low volume srt product. Also reached-out to some friends that work in auburn hills and they didn't think it was and advised just going to different dealer.
