    I n Colorado go for winch bumper with d rings, a good 10,000 lb winch, and a rope not cable, look for the off road goodies to go with the winch. Look at all the gladiator posts for ideas and equipment be spending a lot of money you will change later.

    The truck is a tool, your blank slate to work on. I would not do a lot of lift, you live in fla, not a lot of rock to drive on, a winch yes. A winch for recovery is in my book necessary along with d rings, bubba shackles, recovery straps, tree savers, kinetic rope rope, the list goes on and on...

    That recovery, I thought you meant from the jt payments.what model did you buy? With a good recovery strap you will need a shackle or two, possible a couple of soft shackles, gloves, and desire to get dirty while doing the recovery.
