Thank you for providing us that update! I'm hopeful that recent conversations have sparked that change..... I just got my bushing kit and am headed to my shop next week. How long did you have to wait for reimbursement form Daystar?
Let's just say RK was pretty pissed at Daystar's latest "resolution".... RK was not aware Daystar was offering shops "product" in lieu of payment for replacement of the bushings...That is not what RK agreed to..... Daystar is solely responsible for producing defective parts and would likely...
Interesting development..... Daystar's "offer" has never been mentioned as the resolution..... I'm still waiting for my RK joint rebuld kit to come in and I'll be on the phone tomorrow to RK... We will get to the bottom of this... or a firm like Morgan and Morgan will..... per the TSB, the shop...
You can run whatever you wish but my 35' s looked small.... my 37' s made a big change and look more proprtionate.... all in the eye of the beholder.... and the one who writes the check, LOL!
It is normal to have to re-torque the nuts, most reccomend within 1000 miles and make some control arm adjustments to dial in the system, the suspension components settle in when cycled a few times....
Good news folks. Just got off the phone with Adam at RK and this $$ issue has been resolved. The $75.00 is supposed to be per joint re-build..... Now we just need someone to verify they are being paid correctly by Daystar. I'll be doing mine shortly and see what happens!!
Steffen, all I will say is the RK guys are awesome and the Pro-X kit is Stellar!! If you are thinking about one, this is it! Not sure if the lease would allow mods but if it does, DO IT!!! The rear end really works well... Jumped into some great mud this weekend , forded a creek crossing and...
If you have shaking at 60 mph, you should take it back to the shop that did the lift..... get them to re-set everything...... and verify everything is tight..... The track bar shouldn't cause that issue as it only corrects the left to right track of the axle and centers the axle between the...
The lift will offset the steering wheel, just get it re-centered.... google how to do it or have a shop do it for you.... They should have done it when you had an alignment done after adding the lift kit....
Stock Rubicon JT Suspension - 4 Fox shocks, Springs, control arms , track bar and sway bar links $450.00. will ship on your dime. PM me if interested. SOLD.....
I ran into the same warning message and was going to post the same.... it'll clear when you re-clock the steering wheel.... Thanks Duke56! Had an alignment done saturday and the JT drives much better with the Pro X kit! I did put 3/4 spacers in the front and it still sits with a rake so I'm...
Bumper and winch add a bit of weight (150) but I think the rear Springs sit higher than expected.... RK says ther is a 3/4 rake built in but mine seems a bit more..... truck sat dead level with 1 1/2 spacer and stock Rubicon suspension so I don't think it's the weight....getting everything to...
Just a big shout out to tech Support and Adam C. at RK.... Had an issue during install and Adam jumped right on it to assist... turned out I installed the Upper Rear Control Arms (JT Pro X kit) upside down (Adam, please put a pic in the instructions), got it sorted out and everything's great...
Posted this yesterday and meant to post it here.... "Bill" enjoying his first beach day, learning to surf and maintaining his social distance to avoid Corona Virus.....
Nice! I had a last minute change of plans and couldn't make it - best friend who lives out there had to go out of town.... He's a Mercury dealer out in Quincy so if you need boat stuff, PM me.... How was the event? I get up that way every 3-4 months and we're planning on rock crawling up that...
