I had the same issue with my bumper so made up some 3/8 spacers to fit between the bumper and frame mount. This gave me enough clearance to remove the grill as needed.... Hope this helps....

Spazzyfry, come over for Jeep Beach in April.... we're doing the Track run Wed at 10 am on the Speedway.... I'll have my 3" Pro X kit on.... Damn thing is Jeep Beach is giving a Stingrey JT like ours with the same Pro X kit away at this years event.....

No, mine was with the plastic version..... I planned on replacing the bumper anyway so did not order the steel one..... The factory skid plate works well with my aftermarket bumper.....
