A levelling kit and a 2" lift are two different things. Rubicons already are lifted 2" over the Sports. Leveling kits takes out the front rake... (no changes to geometry).... Adding the 2" lift kit gives you additional overall height but depending on the lift kit may not take out the front end...

Had to modify mine as i had the same issue... mechanic took about 1/8 off each side of the bracket..... posted it a month ago about this potential issue with aftermarket rims.... FYI, all factory spare tire rims are 17" steel so if you don't swap the rim out, make sure you buy the correct tire...
