With so many of us having the same exact issue and it all seems to be with Yukon gears only, I think it's safe to say it's a gear problem. My Gladiator went to two different shops to resolve the gear whine and both confirmed it was the Yukon gears.
That's just the thing, it really is "that bad". Just look at some videos online taken from the last few years - fights, stabbings, minors totally wasted, half-naked drunkeness...the list goes on. But unfortunately, it all gets blamed on the Jeep people because we were the ones who started it...
Every year this gets posted and every year we have to remind y'all that the one in Galveston is not a "Jeep Weekend" or in any way affiliated with Jeep Go Topless Weekend. The douchebags in side-by-sides, bro-dozers and diesel F-250s took over that weekend years ago in Galveston. I wish the news...
"Talk to me about Fenders"
Personally, I prefer a good Stratocaster, American made, not the ones made in Mexico.
Of course if you're a country fan, you can't go wrong with a Telecaster though.
If bass is more your thing, a Jazzmaster is what you're looking for.
And if you want to go really...
He's not selling anything though. He's just a reviewer (not a very good one either). Basically, just making a living off of doing new vehicle run-downs and gets about 90% of it right. Makes me wish I would have thought of it sooner because I'd like to think I could do a much better job and be...
I did because I had the Yukon Warranty with them. If I would have changed to a different brand, it would have cost me another $2,500 to change them out, whereas the warranty replaced them for free. I figured I would get a decent set eventually (I never did before I sold the Jeep).
I thought the same thing until I had to have my Yukon 5.13 gears changed out 3 times due to bad gear sets coming from the manufacturer. Luckily, 5.13 was readily available, 4.63 might not be if you happen to get a bad set.
For that matter, the difference between 4.10 and 4.56 isn't even that much. I'd go 4.88 at least. The 5.13s for my Gladiator on 37s was perfect. I would think 4.88 on 35s would be the sweet spot.
1. I would go for hardtop, especially up north. It's really hard to gauge wind noise when you test drive because you're only in the vehicle for a few minutes. It may start to wear you down when you're driving it daily to and from work or on long trips. If you want that soft top feel, but with...
I gave up trying to get mine to stop pulling right. Both of my Gladiators did it, even after multiple alignments that were in spec, stabilizer change outs, etc. It always pulled to the right and required my left arm to be resting on the arm rest and pulling down. Had a Clayton 2.5" Overland lift...
Just my personal experience, I would not go with Yukon. I’ve been through 3 sets of 5.13s and all of them have had a howling noise in the rear that I never got rid of.
Good luck in finding the actual issue. I had the same problem with my Gladiator around 20,000 miles. Had it looked at by 3 different shops and no one could find any issues with it. Nothing was loose or worn out, everything was torqued correctly. Even had the tires re-balanced and rotated, to no...
OP, I had the same issue on my 21 Texas Trail with 18,000 miles. Stop/Start Not Ready on the display, but no warning light on the dash. Start/Stop system didn't work.
Took it to dealer service dept. and they replaced the aux battery and it worked for a day or two, then back to not working. Took...
Just to be clear, this is for the bumper guard or hoop or whatever you want to call it that fits on JCR bumpers and possibly can be fitted on to other bumpers. It is brand new in the box, never used.
Just come pick it up.
