  2. Confirmed: Rubicon Front Springs 340/ 343 are 1" Taller than Sport S Max Tow

I currently have a Sport S, no tow package manual transmission (1700lb payload) with 443AC and 444AC in the back and I forgot what I have in the front. Currently measuring 92 -93.5 cm in the front (36.2- 36.8) 96 in the back (37.79) I have 339 and 340 front rubicon springs. I don't know if I...
  3. Metallic hissing, sounds like a dry rollerblade bearing 25 - 45mph

I mean, It shows up around 30 mph and you can hear it until 50mph. Then you only hear wind noise "I do hear it 25-45mph. The engine RPMs are louder than the noise I'm hunting down. But HVAC off, radio off and manual transmission in neutral you hear it."
  4. Metallic hissing, sounds like a dry rollerblade bearing 25 - 45mph

No Selec-Trac, I have a Sport S made Sept2019. Just 4hi & 4lo I would say mine is a constant frequency (the sound itself doesn't wobble). It only gets a tiny bit louder from the speed it appears until the wind noise (soft top) is too loud you cannot hear anything else. One day I'll stick a...
  5. Confirmed: Rubicon Front Springs 340/ 343 are 1" Taller than Sport S Max Tow

Yeah I've seen Rubicons come with 339/340 Or 340/343 in the front. Highest number goes passenger side
  6. Metallic hissing, sounds like a dry rollerblade bearing 25 - 45mph

A little while ago I started to hear a scraping, metallic hissing like a dry rollerblade bearing spinning. I cannot describe it well other than it's very faint, very quiet. I thought it was front passenger but "the noise comes from lower" is a better description. I don't hear it above 50mph...
  7. 6-Speed 4.10s with 37s Need Some Help

I think I vaguely remember hearing the Gladiator has "anti stall technology". I find my manual very hard to lugg the engine even if I try. I think the computer won't let your RPMs drop so low they stall.
  8. Auto and manual gear ratios

I've heard from other people on this forum that the two OD gears being so close are for towing. Maybe if 5th doesn't lower your RPMs enough then you have 6th? I would have rather had a crawler gear with a lower ratio like 6, and then 1st be not as low as 5.25 maybe have a 4 ratio; than a second...
  9. Auto and manual gear ratios

Because Aisin/Toyota can and jeep asked so they did. But really, so you have a stump puller gear and something so the JT can ghost walk in 4lo. In the MT reverse is 4.49 in the Auto 3.30 It's always funny to me the least reliable part in the JT has been the Aisin/Toyota transmission + clutch
  10. Swap stock max tow shocks with rubicons

Can you post the full part numbers please?
  11. Billet Bill

You can now buy my truck
  12. New Hampshire Rubicon Suspension stuff

Do you still have the springs? If so part numbers please.
  13. Bulkhead (top left and right side) threading missing?!!

My gladiator was built sept/2019 I'm wondering from any of you who put this same rugged ridge soft folding bed cover on... Does your bracket sit flush on the bulk head or does it lean forward at the top? I hope you can see the well nut (4) and washer (2) behind the plate (3) in my photo. I...
  14. Factory Spray In Bed liner no longer available???

Wtf did they linex a smart car?
  15. Clutch Recall (FCA W12 | 20V-124) For Gladiator Manual Transmiss [overheating clutch pressure plate]

Same. I've seen engineering explained on YouTube state it wears the throw out bearing... But I've never seen one go bad before a clutch disc. You have to look at a 300,000+ mile honda transmission before you find a bad one and even that is probably on its second or third clutch. I do the same...
  16. Coil spring part numbers

Thanks for the info @KurtP Stopping distance is always a factor I pay attention to. I'm not trying to increase my payload. I just want to make sure putting on the Rubicon springs won't kill my payload // take away from my 1650lbs of payload. I put 900-1000lbs in the bed and 4 people in the...
  17. Coil spring part numbers

Seems like I may need to take out my springs (443AC & 444AC) and measure if they have unequal distance between each coil (are progressive)
  18. Coil spring part numbers

@KurtP dont forget about civil asset forfeiture abuse :stop: Thank you for all the info. I know Duallys (dualies?) exist because of payload so it makes sense tires have more to do with payload than springs. Jeep advertises 1700lbs as the Gladiator's max payload on their website but also...
  19. Coil spring part numbers

I saw a Sport S, standard tow package, with spring numbers: 324AB, 325AB. 438AC, 439AC 438AC & 439AC are lower than my 443AC & 444AC I forget what higher number is, I think heavier. I'm trying to figure out what will give more payload my max payload springs from a manual transmission no tow...
  20. Coil spring part numbers

What's the difference between AC VS AB? My springs are 68341444AC 68341443AC
