  1. Shopping Options (1st post!)

Order one the way you want it. Use your affiliate program from work so you don't need to spend the money on Tread Lightly. I used my last EP number for my JTR in 2019 before some of the dealers started the big discounts. The TN dealer discount with financing and affiliate pricing would most...
  2. FYI: Tread Lightly Discount Signup Summary (FCA Program)

I've heard of dealers taking multiple affiliate numbers from one customer and then only applying one to that sale. They then apply the other number to a different sale to also get the kick back on it without passing it on to that customer.
  3. worth it to go back?

I'll looking at buying a set of take off wheels and will run 315/75/17 tires on them. I will keep the original wheels and tires and have two sets. I can run stock most of the time and switch to the bigger set when I hit trails.
  4. "Jeep Could Axe Diesel Engines By 2030, Will Try To Preserve V8s"

Jeep is working on installing charging stations at the Jeep Badge trails.

  7. Go Rhino Xtreme Overland Rack

I ordered the rack last week and will probably order the table as well so hopefully they will have the correct bolts when I get the table.
  8. Go Rhino Xtreme Overland Rack

The rack should have included one gear plate.
  9. Go Rhino Xtreme Overland Rack

I'm surprised they did not offer you the front drivers size mounting bracket they offer.
  10. Go Rhino Xtreme Overland Rack

I ordered four of them last year and they were all keyed alike.
  11. Opinions please... eye appeal, lift for 35" tires on JT Rubicon. Moderate trails

I'm in the same boat and will start with the 1.5" Teraflex front and .75" daystar rear spacers. This is about $150 so if I want more later I can get a 2" or 2.5" lift. Easier than $2000 on a lift and then you want to downsize.
  12. FCA free touch up paint

@JeepCares Can you help with this one. Are all Gladiator owners getting free touch up paint.
  13. Powerstation to use with bed outlet (Jackery, etc)

It generates heat so it could lead to overheating or more likely cause the battery to lose capacity more quickly because of the constant charging and discharging.
  14. Powerstation to use with bed outlet (Jackery, etc)

The Jackery, and others like it, can handle passthru but this will quickly reduce the lifespan of the device. I have a Jackery 240 and use it for my Alpicool C35 but try to limit the passthru as much as possible. I have the fridge running off the 12V ACC and only if I stop over 30 minutes will...
  15. Rtt suggestions/opinions

Forgot to mention that if you are looking for a large annex area then the Walkabout is the better option.
  16. Rtt suggestions/opinions

If you are going to run a half rack I would suggest the Breezway, otherwise go for the Walkabout. I called the dealer in CO and had several conversations with them. I ordered online and then contacted them with my order number. They dropped the shipping fee, but stilled showed it as being...
  17. Rtt suggestions/opinions

The Breezeway has basic side windows that have no awning. This is for us that use half racks since the awning poles on one side would hit the trucks roof.
  18. Rtt suggestions/opinions

Have you checked with a dealer near you to save on the shipping? I have the 62 Breeseway and when I was purchasing 23Zero had 2-4 months lead-time depending on the day you asked them. I live within a hour from them, but drove to CO to get one a week after I ordered. $100 in gas was fine to have...
  19. Full Rack vs Half-Rack

Here is one closed on a Hive CX trailer. Not on the back of a truck, but should help.
  20. Full Rack vs Half-Rack

With the RTT on the half rack you can't use you rearview mirror, but a camera can fix that. Once you have it assembled and installed it can be removed in one piece. I'm in my mid50's and can remove and install the half rack by myself in about 10-15 minutes. But yes if you wanted to you could...
