So… remember when I asked GoRhino for a recommendation of a hi lift jack mount to mount INSIDE of the rack??

well… I couldn’t get it to mount because the bar was hitting the GoRhino vertical upright.

This is their recommendation!!! Now I can’t return the product because it’s used. Be giving GoRhino a call. Let’s see what they have to say for themselves.
Not happy
I'm surprised they did not offer you the front drivers size mounting bracket they offer.

@Bremen not a fan of that one. The only option to work with the mount they recommended me is to have it installed on the gear plate kit. If they offer me that for free, then it will be an acceptable proposition.

it will only mount to the 4core bars outside of the rack or on top bars.

The rack should have included one gear plate.

Yes I do have it and also the table. My issue is that I explained to GoRhino that I wanted to mount my HiLift jack on the inside using the 4core bars. They recommended the specific part, and that part doesn’t work.

GoRhino reached out to me and offered a solution to my issue with the HiLift Jack. They will do a mock up and make some spacers for me. I do appreciate their response and assistance. I did bring up the issue with the side tables too as the bolts are too short. Hopefully they can revise their kit in the future as others do based on user recommendations.

I feel more relieved that they offered me a solution.

I ordered the rack last week and will probably order the table as well so hopefully they will have the correct bolts when I get the table.

@Bremen once u get it, let us know so we can assist you with a smooth install.
With the rack, everything is pretty self explanatory once u get one upright bracket installed.

What a rollercoaster ride! I’m sure you all are glad to finally have the rack. I read the entire thread after searching for reviews for the last few weeks. I definitely appreciate all the info that’s in this thread. Although it seems like a giant pain to go through, I think I’m going to bite the bullet and place an order myself.

I’ll be doing the installation without the bed rail system.. hopefully I can get it figured out. I’ll send out some updates along the way.

Couldn't find much on this online, but it checks ALL my boxes. Maximum versatility, low cost, lots of accessories. The table is what really sold me. Anyone else have one on order?

On the personal note - I've had my gladiator for a little over a year, and I've gone through phases of wanting different options of bed coverings/racks. Anyone else face the challenge of wanting "everything" for their Jeep? I ended up coming full circle and ordering this full size rack.
Ordered the same rack from QT. Yep... Reported to be "In Stock" then drop shipped from manufacturer. Not really a big deal....shipped about 7 days later. Being delivered today.
I installed Rhino Dominator DSS steps and will most likely stay with GoRhino products for additional add ons.

So I pulled the trigger.. I ended up ordering the rack from Go Rhino’s website.. along with the table, handles, some tie downs and a pair of offset lighting mounts for the windshield. I can list the part numbers if anyone is interested in them.

In addition, I ordered an awning from northridge 4x4 despite hearing a lot about delivery scheduling horror stories.

Back to the rack though, I do not have a bed rail system but I have my eye on the teraflex cargo rail system and may order that.. I’m thinking, although I could be mistaken, that the rack will be sturdier when mounted to the rail system vs not. Any thoughts on this?

@GeneralJT i don’t have the rail system and mine can only mount to 6 of the 8 supplied bolts. I have no issues with it as I drove through some 50mph gusts on highway speeds, and some slight Offroad (jarring dirt/gravel trail). It’s pretty secured.
once u get the table, let us know what size bolt they include. We did reach out to them and they are working on a correction.

Awesome, thanks for the reply. I now think I remember seeing the pics you posted and seeing that it was not mounted to a rail system. I may just go with that.. I’m sure it’ll be plenty sturdy for my applications right now.

I’ll certainly let you know what arrives and when. Thanks for the help.

I installed via the rail system. Just make sure you leave everything very loose. Also, on one side do not put in the upper bolts that hold the rack feet on (there is a single long bolt that goes through the uprights and then two small bolts that go through the uprights, leave the two small bolts out). That way they can pivot to allow you more play to get the feet up onto your bed and installed on the rails. Once it's installed onto the rails you can then put those small bolts back in.
