  1. Where do you get your ducks?

Just ordered these off of Etsy. Not cheap though. Got them in military green, close as I can find to Gator green. Will have to paint the details myself though. My daughter will get the 1st one. She bought her 1st Jeep yesterday. And has already been ducked.
  2. Extendable Towing mirrors

Sorry for resurrections, but question still stands. I have an idea to build adapters to use Chevy truck tow mirrors. Does anybody have a pair of scrap stock mirrors? Be a lot easier with a scrap pair of mirrors. And Yes I will make then available as cheap as I can when done. You will have to...
  3. Tow Mirrors - Rampage Adapters for JT/JL

I am at work. E-bay is blocked. Is there another way I can order. Or just wait till I get home and do it.
  4. Has anyone found the perfect Gladiator water bottle?

My dogs think this is perfect. It just fits in the cup holder.
  5. Torsen/TrueTrac helical limited slip differential?

I am going to have to start putting money away.
  6. Torsen/TrueTrac helical limited slip differential?

I even toyed with the idea of using a Truetrac for the Titan and a set of gears. Should fit the housing and be stronger. Problem is the pinion has a different spline count. You could possibly use the titan yoke and then get a custom driveshaft. But at that point the cost would start getting...
  7. MotorTrend 2021 Gladiator Review - Terrifying Towing?

I have wanted another Jeep ever since I sold my '79 CJ-7. However, I have a 22' deck boat I need to tow. No CJ/Wrangler style Jeep has ever had a rating/ability to "Safely " tow that. Now I am happy with my Gladiator.
  8. MotorTrend 2021 Gladiator Review - Terrifying Towing?

We could dream, or may be ... wait for it, wait for it, The "Gladiator" again.. Too late. It will never happen, FCA would be afraid it would take too many sells from the RAM. Those of us old enough might remember when Jeep advertised "Highest ground clearance with lowest lift over height". They...
  9. MotorTrend 2021 Gladiator Review - Terrifying Towing?

Come on. That's all wicker. That ain't no problem. LOL
  10. MotorTrend 2021 Gladiator Review - Terrifying Towing?

Sorry, the point I was trying to make..... They should follow MT's advice and stay a way from it for towing purposes. They would have accidents and give it an undeserved reputation.
  11. MotorTrend 2021 Gladiator Review - Terrifying Towing?

Something else to consider. People who read Motor Trend to get advice on a tow vehicle, are the people that should heed Motor Trends opinion of its towing capabilities. They are the ones that aren't knowledgable enough to know how to properly tow.
  12. Truetrac on sport s 3:73? What's the spline count?

Third entry in this thread has numbers. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/brfertig-can-you-enlighten-us-on-32-spline-helical-diff-options-or-other-adaptations.32815/
  13. Truetrac on sport s 3:73? What's the spline count?

Oh yes. The front and rear differentials on the JT/JL use different size ring gear. 210 front 220 rear. Would possible require different truetrac. And axle shaft length are offset on Rubicon with E-Locker and not on non Rubicon. But I can find no mention of Max Tow axle length other than they...
  14. Truetrac on sport s 3:73? What's the spline count?

The ring gear on the Nissan is 226mm overall diameter, On the JT it is 220, inside diameter is also different. Assuming the truetrac is sized for the ring inside diameter, the JT/JL ring won't fit. I toyed with the idea of using ring and pinion from a Nissan, but pinion spline count is...
  15. Torsen/TrueTrac helical limited slip differential?

Considering that the truetrac is purely gear driven with no full lock position, I don't believe it would be any worse. or better, then an open diff with a CAD I volunteer to be the 1st to test this theory. Now we just need TrueTrac to make this application.
  16. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

Yep, And they would do it on the old straight axle also. But, I believe, You could only adjust the camber that way, Not the Caster. On Fords they have offset sleeves they use on the upper ball joint. Not Jeep. Their "suposedly" are special offset ball joints that can be used, but they are not...
  17. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

Coming from an F350 4x4 CrewCab dually with 230,000 miles and parked next to a 2003 35' motorhome with a straight axle, My Gladiator steers like a dream, However my wife pointed out the wander. She drives an F150 FX4 with almost 100,00 miles. Made me take notice. She is right is does wander. It...
  18. Brfertig, can you enlighten us on 32 spline helical diff options? (or other adaptations?)

Little more research, Titan pinion has different spline count than Gladiator. If the U-joint was the same, we could possibly use the titan u-joint yoke also. More research,,,
  19. Difference between max tow and my Overland?

The GCVWR of a vehicle is determined by a few things (simplifying here). The load capacity/strength of the "WEAKEST" driveline component, The weight of the vehicle subtracted from that amount, and the also how much tongue weight your trailer has (It will be weight on the truck springs), and...
  20. Max Tow Trac Loc part #

Ring gear diameter is different on the Titan. I wondering, however, if you could use the Titan TrueTrac and a Titan ring and pinion???? As long as the Pumpkins are the same it should work.
