I had the same exact symptoms and try to deal with it for a little bit by manually shifting, but it inevitably would go into limp mode. I would have to pull over and use my Tazer to clear the CEL.
83K and not under warranty.
Fortunately, I got a take off from a Hemi swap donor for $1500...
Guys, you need to be deleting the aux battery altogether and not just replacing it. The system has proven itself, be problematic, and the core being the batteries being in series. Delete the aux and get a bigger main. Run ESS if you feel that system makes sense.
you don't need to worry about this fuse box and everything just do it carefully and know what you're doing. It's really designed for morons to plug things in wrong. I've done several of these.
can always add the front trail cam via Tazer got a an offer for thr Farout for $55 OTD today sleeping on it. Jeep has really screwed all of us OGs. trade-in values are crap now and the newbies are picking them up.
Ugh! That is why we donāt trust the Internet. I took this as valid and measured to 57ā on the dot. Too short. I figured it was already a well-vetted question.
The two options I am loving: 3 clicks of unlock on Fob turns bed lights on 5 turns on the bed lights AND reverse lights. Totally illuminates area when working.
I am glad I am not alone in this issue. This is my first Jeep / JT and Iām seeing (feeling) some limitations based on my height.
@nc3310 - any decisions yet? The extra height I donāt need. The cushion depleting idea is good but I donāt want to f up the OEM stuff.
They have the Gladiator listed now. I am 6'4 as well and this is my first Jeep and feel like I am in a go kart. ;).

Thank you. Iām a self-proclaimed idiot I thought those were the fog lights because of the angle of the light Duh. I missed that in the owners guys and wondered why the fog lights sucked so bad. Oops
Hey all. Dave from Raleigh NC here. First Time Jeep owner. Went to look at Wranglers and came home with a Gladiator Sport. Looking forward to doing upgrades and talking to you guys.
My daughter helped pick it out.
