They are for sitting the edge of the hard top on if you wanna sit it on the floor...simple answer...they work good for that if that's your requirements.

Stupid question no doubt. Just looking for confirmation that all the post parts and bolted in parts for the soft top install have to come completely off prior to putting the hard top back on in the fall?

Still waiting on mine from the dealer(soon he says...has been saying that since I picked up the truck 5000kms ago)...anyway, paid for it at time of deal and I paid 1400 Canadian for the pleasure...on quadratec website and now on dealer parts line they say it's 2100 plus tax Canadian to get in...

I installed these today and they are shit. Tried to open it like my 6 yr old grandkid would do and they popped open real easy...just a soft metal latch that bends easy. Astra depot on Amazon..was 50 bucks plus tax Canadian. Piece of shit. Stay away. Anyone know of anything with a better lock?

Are they sturdy, or just pop open like the ones I posted about today with a little pressure. I wanted mine to lock, but just pulled on them a little bit and the soft metal latch bent and popped open.
