Pretty sure this is a first for a JT load......
Coaled fired, live steam 1.5” scale ride on steam locomotive.
Has jeep traits.....4 wheel drive, solid axles, coil spring suspension, full time lockers front and rear. Probably about 700 lbs in the truck. Rode sweet. Pulling my little teardrop trailer at the same time.

For many years I have had a Jeep Overland bike rack. Plugged it into my trailer hitch and went for a ride. As you will see I can completely lower my tailgate and the rack does not hit the tailgate, got about 4 inches of clearance. Several years ago I made my own brackets and mounted 4 small LED lights to this rack, gives me complete brake lights, night time running lights and turn signals. Really did not want to have anyone rear end me and then try to blame it on me saying that they could not see my tail lights through my bike tires. In one picture I have my right turn signal on so you can see what it looks like when flashing. I also have another rack that holds 3 bikes and I also put a set of lights on that rack.

Oh and note the rubber mat on my tailgate. One section needs to be secured down but this gives you a good shot of what the finished job will look like.

And yes that is a Bluetooth speaker on the bike. I listen to rock while I roll on my Specialized Roll bike.

Added some jewelry to the “red queen”... on board air. DV8 bracket, arb twin compressor, braided air line, a left over cb mount bracket and a air coupler.

How was the install? I saw a video where the mount had fitment problems. Was that corrected? Or maybe the guy installed it wrong.

The bracket came with a size too big of hardware. A trip to ace hardware fixed that. I found a JL thread that you need to flip a bracket that’s bolted to the firewall, was left out of the instructions. After that, I got an extra hand to hold up the bracket, stuck in the bolts and then tightened it up.

But they need to be realistic.

I WANT to put a $30,000 suspension/driveline upgrade on my JT and go to MOAB, but that won't happen until I win the lottery.
