The whipers were being finnicky, but the bucket mouths were hungry a little bit.
You'd think someone with a fishery as a front yard would get to fish everyday, but there's always something.

I do IT stuff so I can buy Jeep stuff.
Finished a 3100+ mile round trip to Newfoundland to catch a moose .... used some other off-road equipment (and managed to break an axle turning our 8x8 Argo into a 7x7) .... saw several fantastic sunsets ..... took two ferry rides ..... and filled my freezer.

What does moose taste like? Noticeably different?

Honestly, I think you could serve it to most people and they'd probably just think it was the sweetest and most tender beef they have ever had.

Makes sense… Moose look like nice, sweet animals😂
Tried venison so long ago I don’t remember what it was like.
Lamb is good, elk I had was too fatty, prob couldn’t tell apart from beef blindly.
I had alligator once, remember thinking it tasted just like chicken😳
Seems like there’s either dark meat, pork, or chicken flavor, but maybe I’m just not cultured enough.

I can't recall ever seeing the processed meat in the raw like this before, but it's certainly more like beef than it is like venison. That marbling is beautiful!
