Definitely something you could do while close by. I think it took us a couple hours total but we went really slow and there was no traffic other than bear hunters training dogs. I aired down for comfort but its not needed. The good thing about it is that it's not terribly far from 81 so not too...
I think Jeep has done an excellent job at choosing paint. Since the release of the Gladiator there have been many "favorite" colors for me. Gator, Firecracker Red, Hydro Blue, Punkin, Sarge, Snazzberry, Gecko, Earl and of course High Velocity are all great colors. Too bad they chose not to...
The top and fenders being black make a huge difference. I would not have bought it all color matched. I actually went to buy one painted Earl grey but they had mine sitting next to it and it was the first one I had seen with the black fenders and top. I changed my mind instantly and didn't even...
Thanks. I've done Big Levels before as well as Potts Mtn. and Bald Mtn. I'm not sure the wife would be comfortable with any of them though. I'll check out the other two. Are they both two way traffic in case she changes her mind half way through?
So the wife and I will be riding/camping in the Peters Mill Run area this coming weekend. What other roads or light trails can we do in the area? I have no problem with anything but she is scared to death of anything more than a rated 2 or 3. I'm trying to help her get used to it so she will go...
You would be hard pressed to hit both Uwharrie and Gulches in the same day unless you only plan on running the badge trail at Uwharrie. It's about 2.5 to 3 hours between the two depending on traffic. The trail time at Uwharrie is also dependent on (trail) traffic. Dickey Bell can get VERY busy...
The install doesn't scare me at all. I've been crawling around in and under vehicles since the early 80's. I just couldn't find whether or not there was a provision for it in every truck or just the ones with the factory switches. Honestly, it's really not worth the trouble to buy the kit and...
Ya know, yall won't believe this but I did search both the install and the existing wire questions and found nothing. I also physically scrolled though the respective subforums looking for a post that would lead me there. I figured something so coveted would have been covered and was surprised...
So my Rubicon didn't come with the aux switches and I want to add them. Is the wiring there or is it a toss up from truck to truck? What am I looking for and where?
Just watching the video, to me the grill slots look shorter. I guess that's why they made the bars mesh as well. It might allow more air flow but I'd bet it's not enough to matter. I personally like the old style grill better.
