Yes, it’s still available. I don’t know why it says I have 2, I’m only posting the one I have for sale that I just removed from the jeep. When I bought the jeep it had the basic 5 inch radio and I bought a 7 inch from somebody on this forum. Now that I’m returning the jeep I put the 5 inch back...
Nothing changes with the 7" radio, you continue to use the climate control knobs as you originally did. The 7" doesn't give you the ability to control climate from the radio interface (but it does echo any changes you make on the knobs) - that might be something when going to the 8.4, I really...
Couldn’t be easier. Takes less than 5 minutes and all you need is a credit card and a Phillips screwdriver.
All of the wiring harnesses are the same so it’s plug and play.
(credit card used to pry the bezel off unless you have strong finger nails).
we’re in Black Mountain (near Asheville).
Perfect working order. You will need to order a Sirius antenna off Amazon or eBay ($16).

It has had a number of issues since I've installed it which Insane Audio's support hasnt been able to explain.
I do suspect I received a second hand unit from 4wheelparts as it did not have the protective screen covering on it as...
Easy. Remove the bezel, 4 screws and connect all the labeled wires as described in the instructions.
Or watch the you tube videos they posted.
I was done in 30 min - very easy.
Got it installed - very simple (30 min). I'm not sure about the placement of the GPS antenna, I put it under the dash behind the radio and off to the right (close to the window) with the sticky side up.
I don't know if sticky side up is correct and if that's the cause of the slow nav/GPS...
Ok try again...
I just spent $1300. I didn't want to wait 2-3 months for the Teyes to arrive from China so I went with the Insane Audio which was in stock.
I'm going to bite the bullet and get the Teyes SPRO CCT vs spending $1300 for the Insane Audio and try to get it to work. Will let you know how it goes!
