Also an option if you have the hood struts - Stabilus Ez-Switch gas strut activated switches - I donāt have a link as the original eBay site is sold out, but google may provide other sources.
Engine cover was only standard on the early builds, possibly just 2020 or maybe even 2021ā¦. Others will have better info as to when it was phased out.
Looks like @smlobx might have a slightly wider gap from cab to canopy. Is this adjustable at all - more to the rear to widen the gap?
Has there been any front end mods that would modify the airflow over the grill/hood/windshield?
Does opening the windows eliminate the buffeting?

Exactly - @ShadowsPapa provided a good reason not to - it could compromise the reverse function. Either technique could be used and not compromise the oem wiring by using the modified harness, but using pins 5 & 6 energizes the relay while keeping the reverse circuit unchanged.
87a/30 becomes integral to the license plate light - when the reverse lights are energized, the relay breaks the license plate circuit turning off that light. Does energizing the relay through the 85/86 path have to go from the reverse light to ground or can it be put in line with pin 5 only...

Another option - Someone posted these bumper replacement fogs with driving light that includes selective yellow lens cover.

The nav update is of no consequence in keeping your JT up to date. I bought the update and it was total crap. It was more of a downgrade tHan an upgrade. Data that was available prior to the update was missing or inaccurate. Roads that used to display the speed limit now default to 55. Not...
You donāt need to put a wrench on it , so any bolt that fits the hole is good. Just grind the head for correct fit - thickness and width To match the slot.
