It will be interesting to hear from those who have ordered if the replacement blade is the rubber refill only… I don’t think they offered rubber refills for the oem wipers.
Definitely need something for these old knees to get in the bed, but I like the tailgate for a flat work surface and the ladder would get in the way of that. I have a small scaffolding from HF I think that folds up small but provides that 12” to 18” step to get up to the bumper and in.
It’s not an option - it either is balanced or it isn’t. If it isn’t, then you have to remove the existing weights and start over. Just simpler to remove the weights and then balance it fresh If you are going to the trouble to put it on the machine.
Apparently you got the wrong oem caps as 48psi is too high… dealer should replace them with correct caps under warranty…
may require leaving truck overnight , or longer due to the global cap shortage.
Hardly worth the effort of mounting it on the balance machine if you are not going to do the actual balance with a wheel that has no weights on it to start. The goal is to end up with the minimum amount of weights required to balance the wheel. Starting with the weights still on may result in...
Post #3 in this taco forum - https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/benwas-version-of-a-power-sliding-rear-window-retrofit.163816/. Describes how to make a bracket to attach the slider trolley to the window - which makes for a pretty clean installation. It also makes it easily removable so you can...
You pretty much have to. Dictate to the service writer how you want it done - or you will get a different method each time you get a different tech working on your Jeep.
I’ve had 2 techs working together and they screwed it up royally!
Since then I’ve made it simple for them - I put a pc of...
Coating looks good - Is the raptor coating from a rattle can? Does it have UV stabilizers TO prevent fading? Does the coating on sliders provide some grip if used as a step?
Are those pins available - should be cheaper than buying the oem mic to cut them off - just graft the pins on the GC mic.
@ShadowsPapa might know how to source them.
I did see the GC mic for about $10 - 12 each on eBay (Joewy - seller).
I used a jumper wire in the relay slot of my 06 Honda For the 12v outlet to power it full time. No issues. All you need is a short length of wire and 2 spade connectors that fit.
Nice - do you have a write up on the installation as well as the turn signal wiring? The web site indicates it comes as set of 2 mirrors - is that one each left and right?
I have a 2020 delivered in 2019… just got the update recently. You would think when they send you a notification that an update is available it would actually be new data… it is when I update the maps on my garmin.
