I've been trying to source parts to add some heated higher pressure headlight prayers to grill from an older audi or Saab. To me this is the only real solution. The heated lights can't keep up due to the recessed design.
This brings up an interesting point. Is the recall open ended or does it close at some point? Can we just wait until our clutch wears out and the have it done? Maybe the recall only replaces the pressure plate and not the clutch?
You are 100% incorrect here sorry. A lsd absolutely gives you more traction by limiting wheel spin in a corner. Especially in snow and rain. I tut think you are confusing a clutch type lsd for a locker. They are nothing alike in any way.
This has nothing to do with a limited slip differential. An lsd is not in anyway a locking differential. Drifters weld their differentials so both wheels spin like the lockers on a rubicon.
This is ridiculous. The LSD does not lead to sideways situations. This forum is the only place I've ever seen this. There is a reason most sports cars come with an LSD and it's to gain traction and avoid sideways situation. The trac lock is great in the snow, wet, etc.. That is what it is for!
Good to know, I've thought about getting the Borla for a little sound. The sport and Overland have shorter tires so the final drive gearing does not make much of a difference. After I had mine for a bit I considered trading for a Rubi but there was no noticeable difference on the road between...
I own one and it sucks. I'm not wanting a close ratio gear box, I just wanted a 6 speed not a 4 speed (It's 2020). Anyway, I love my truck just wish it could maintain speed in going through hilly roads. The combo of this transmission and the V6 does not work.
Head over to the JL forum. Nobody is raving about the manual over there. Mostly the same complaints as the JT. The transmission and shifter are fine. The gearing sucks and was clearly designed to up the MPGs. No need for two overdrives. The auto does a much better job of masking the V6s lack...
