  1. Truck won’t shut off!!

This is usually caused by a failing Star connector. Green one behind the glove box.
  2. Cowl Lights for serious snow?

I've been trying to source parts to add some heated higher pressure headlight prayers to grill from an older audi or Saab. To me this is the only real solution. The heated lights can't keep up due to the recessed design.
  3. Hauling Long Lumber

Isn't this what the flip down windshield is for?
  4. Took the stock steps off my Overland.

I love the look of these but they look deadly for the winter.
  5. Manuals might be dead

This brings up an interesting point. Is the recall open ended or does it close at some point? Can we just wait until our clutch wears out and the have it done? Maybe the recall only replaces the pressure plate and not the clutch?
  6. This virus is killing my new truck buzz

If test's were readily available these numbers would be very different.
  7. Owner and consumer Test Drive Reviews

You are 100% incorrect here sorry. A lsd absolutely gives you more traction by limiting wheel spin in a corner. Especially in snow and rain. I tut think you are confusing a clutch type lsd for a locker. They are nothing alike in any way.
  8. Owner and consumer Test Drive Reviews

This has nothing to do with a limited slip differential. An lsd is not in anyway a locking differential. Drifters weld their differentials so both wheels spin like the lockers on a rubicon.
  9. Owner and consumer Test Drive Reviews

This is ridiculous. The LSD does not lead to sideways situations. This forum is the only place I've ever seen this. There is a reason most sports cars come with an LSD and it's to gain traction and avoid sideways situation. The trac lock is great in the snow, wet, etc.. That is what it is for!
  10. Manuals might be dead

All good suggestions but this turd deserves a fiery death. Will be sure to get out and fill up first.
  11. Manuals might be dead

Fingers crossed mine catches on fire so I can buy an auto. Has their been any proof that that letter is real?
  12. Manuals might be dead

Good to know, I've thought about getting the Borla for a little sound. The sport and Overland have shorter tires so the final drive gearing does not make much of a difference. After I had mine for a bit I considered trading for a Rubi but there was no noticeable difference on the road between...
  13. Manuals might be dead

I own one and it sucks. I'm not wanting a close ratio gear box, I just wanted a 6 speed not a 4 speed (It's 2020). Anyway, I love my truck just wish it could maintain speed in going through hilly roads. The combo of this transmission and the V6 does not work.
  14. Manuals might be dead

Head over to the JL forum. Nobody is raving about the manual over there. Mostly the same complaints as the JT. The transmission and shifter are fine. The gearing sucks and was clearly designed to up the MPGs. No need for two overdrives. The auto does a much better job of masking the V6s lack...
  15. Manuals might be dead

Good because the manual gearing makes it a turd. Maybe there will be a market now to unload mine.
  16. Max tow package with Trac Lok?

Your still confusing the systems here but anyway, the BLD is still active if you have Trac Loc. All gladiators come with BLD.
  17. Max tow package with Trac Lok?

You can't dis able BLD in 2wd because its not active. You are confusing BLD with traction control and esc. Read the manual, BLD is only active in 4wd.
  18. Max tow package with Trac Lok?

BL BLD Is only active in 4wd H&L. What your experiencing is the traction control.
  19. Amber Driving lights! Yes Please!

Does the snow build up on these like the factory LED lights?
