This is what I was looking for lol!
  2. Spare Tire Winch Crank Tool?

Of course. I didn’t mean to imply I’d use an impact to torque the spare down, just do most of the lifting :)
  3. Spare Tire Winch Crank Tool?

That could work! Assuming the square end fits :)
  4. Spare Tire Winch Crank Tool?

none of the above. I edited my original post - sorry it wasn't more clear! I'm talking about the tool (3 or 4 pc rod) that you have to get from under the rear seat (strapped to the OEM jack) that operates the winch to lower the spare.
  5. Spare Tire Winch Crank Tool?

Hey all - is there a simple tool that replaces the winch rod tool I can buy instead of pulling out the jack and spare tire kit from under the seat every time I want to rotate tires? Its a PITA to get the stuff out, but more importantly it isn't really sturdy enough for frequent use (the square...

  9. Possible tire scam? maxxis razr mt

Who here has these 13.5" mounted in the spare slot and can share photos? Please also share what lift and offset you have! Trying to see if mine will fit ;) I still have 5k of tread left so hoping to learn from you all first!
  10. Has anyone gone from Synergy steering sector shaft brace to the Metalcloak version?

Not sure what you’re seeing exactly. The paint around the bolt is chipping away and the arm just has a little nick from a rock or something that took some paint off. But no crack I can see :)
  11. Has anyone gone from Synergy steering sector shaft brace to the Metalcloak version?

Thanks for all the replies everyone, however, I'm not looking for opinions on other setups. Going back to the original question - has anyone gone from a Synergy brace to the Metalcloak? I'd love to hear actual experiences with the MC setup...
  12. Has anyone gone from Synergy steering sector shaft brace to the Metalcloak version?

Thanks but a nut won't fix this for me. it is the bolt that goes into the aluminum bearing housing that won't stay.
  13. Has anyone gone from Synergy steering sector shaft brace to the Metalcloak version?

I've had my Synergy for quite some time now and while I've been generally been happy with it, I have not been able to keep it stable. I it needs to be retorqued (the 3/8? bolt that holds the shaft bearing housing) every 1500-2000 miles. Steering gets noticeably loose and then I have to go down...

Had this on my bucket list for some time. Thanks for the invite @DocMike!
  20. Need some advice.

Zero regrets on my setup! I put on 2.5” with 3/4” spacer and line extensions in the rear to offset the RLD cap weight. Adjustable shocks are a must now that I’ve had them. Soft on the trails and stiff when long windy highway runs. Somewhere in the middle for daily driving.
