Yes agreed. Although I did test drive it and it wasn’t as bare-bones as I expected. Was still a gladiator at the end of the day, same engine, same transmission. But the rubber steering wheel was pretty disgusting… will definitely swap it out or wrap it at a minimum.
Not yet. I got the black one down to $36k with the cosmetic warranty. It’s a phenomenal deal IMO, but I had my heart set on a green one, of which there are 7 on the lot. They haven’t been sitting long enough to discount deeper, so I’m willing to wait until they are ;)
There are like 15 of them on the lot with the same build/MSRP. All of them have the 15% Jeep rebate, but only a handful have been deeply discounted an additional $7-9.5k. I’m sure they would sell any/all of them at that deep discount with some negotiation. Only thing is they add $4k in add-ons...
So they’re going to give me the green for the black price of $35,124 (msrp $52,505).
Main thing I’m working on now is getting rid of the $3,999 dealer add-ons (sounds like warranties, interior/exterior protection, and other BS). We’ll see how far I make it.
I do have an FCA control number...
Thanks, I appreciate the tip. West Covina has around twenty-five (25) 2023 Sports Max Tow in stock right now (on the website at least), all with identical builds (dual door group, etc) with same MSRP (except for paint or slight increase due to the mid-year jump).
Kind of nuts but not surprising...
Crazy, definitely no time or willingness to go that far... And I just mean simply auto-on.... Sport is missing it LOL
That's what I'm thinking....
Looks like 2.9% is military only...
Fair enough. MSRP starts at $39k for bare bones Sport now... $2k destination, $500 for paint, $1000 for...
Yeah, I can live without the automatic headlights, was just wondering.
Good info on keeping the LSD in the rear! Yeah, sway bar disconnect was awesome in the Rubi, just for smoother driving on bumpy fire roads, but I might just go with AntiRock sway bars as I've always been curious...
Thoughts on this 2023 Sport with Max Tow and Dual Doors?

I had a 2020 JTR for a little over a year before we lemoned it. Maybe looking to get into one again, esp if they can do 2.99% APR...
With 2022 models coming out in a few months, anyone know how much I can negotiate on a 2020 JTM? Found a couple that have everything the I want, but also have more than I would order myself (leather, body-color top and fenders).
I’m debating between waiting for 2022 and doing a factory order...
Do you know if anyone ever got the shocks in a dyno? Did you ever put the airlift springs on?
FCA is doing a buyback of my Rubicon in a few weeks, and I am considering a Mojave as a replacement. Air Lift helped immensely for my RLD + RTT. Was sagging and swaying pretty bad before I added the...
ah right. Must have been the angle in the first photo that made it look like Gen 1 (mismatched profile).
Anyway, it does look pretty slick with the doors off. Looks like all the full racks offered by the other companies, which is a good thing. Might be an option to complete the look when going...
Ah interesting. I missed that. I don't mind the side hinges too much. Flush windows are also a nice upgrade for the side windows, but not as a big a deal for the rear IMO.
Do you mean Gen 1? Or are we on Gen 3 now? lol. Haven’t really followed since I got mine installed last year. Perhaps Gen 3 is without the 4th brake light?
@Bumpy Ride yeah we go back and forth on what to do, but figured it wouldn’t hurt to put it out there. Might be a buyer that really needs one and doesn’t want to wait.
