I went to Jeep and built a rubicon the way that I would want it and added $9500 to the end of their price. If the rumors are true, that would put it around the $66k mark. Not bad...still expensive, but not bad. . I could be swayed to push the button at that price. Fingers crossed.
Renegade,
Thanks for the feedback. That is what I suspected. That is how I felt in the JLUR when I went factory to the 2.0s. While, it was an Improvement, I wish I had gone a little higher end.
On the length...absolutely...need to measure and see where I am at now and order accordingly...
@Hootbro,
They have been one of the shocks that I have been looking at. Do you have the SP2 version and if so, which setting do you have them on? Do you feel that they are too harsh at low speed?
I think my biggest complaint is the Rubicon floats too much and doesn’t settle down soon enough.
Debating on shocks to replace the factory Rubicon shocks.
Trying to decide is it worth it to move over to the Fox 2.0 or go higher. Most of my driving is on road with the occasional offroad adventure. I feel like the factory shocks don’t do enough to control the ride and looking for...
Just had mine completed today. It only took 2 months to get the parts and in for service.
I could tell a difference instantly. The steering felt much heavier and solid in the parking lot. Once I made it to the highway, it was much easier to control and steer with one hand.
All and all...
Where in N.C. are you? I took mine to one dealer and they did an alignment (toe was off) but refused to look at the steering and blamed it on the bigger tires and rims.
Today, I was driving by another dealer (same major name but different shop) and decided to stop in. I went in with a...
it makes a little clunk just like the drag link and tie rod do from lateral movement. To be honest though...the music is usually turned up and I don’t hear a thing .
Doing some research and think edge, super chips, and diablo are all under the same parent company.
I had a similar dealing with super chips over the phone with a different product. I hit them up on social media and was able to resolve my issues through private message and a different person...
Just looked at the Teraflex website and it appears that they have their lifts for the JT up. The 2.5 will have springs in the front and a spacer in the rear. The 3.5 will be all springs.
Surprised to see another manufacture go with spacers in the back. There will also be a 2 inch difference...
Those that have Skyjacker lifts...what are your thoughts on the coils? I like that they have the 2.5/1 inch combo and that they are dual rate. Don’t care about the shocks since I would go with something different.
Thanks,
Kevin
