  1. MOPAR 4.88 re-gear at dealership?

I had some issues a few years ago so i may miss a few points here, but be sure you ask questions before you re-gear just so ya know. This is kinda long, but it happened over the course of a few months before I found out the reason. If you make it through I hope it helps. 2020 Rubicon. 3.5"...
  2. Ram Mount 'A'pillar ball

Trust me, i love buying local. I bought a CMM ball for the grab bar and have no complaints. At least none that is their fault. I over torqued it one day and have now stripped the threads on the handle. My fault, not theirs. I thought that ball was a bit much, but i appreciate the skill...
  3. RAM mount passenger dash grab bar

AH! This is a thread i need! Where the Ram Ball is screwed in, what is that location refernced as in the Mopar Parts book? When i put in the CMM ball i stripped the threads on the mounting side, not the ball side. I'm looking for a blown up pic of how to change out whatever is threaded in...
  4. Ram Mount 'A'pillar ball

As much as I'd love to get this from CMM , $102 is a bit steep for a ball mount in my world. So i found this on the Ram Mount site. Does anyone know the depth required for a stud to work on the bottom of the A pillar to use it as a mount point? Thanks for any intel. j-
  5. Body color match dash inserts.

I love it. Got a Rubicon, dont *mind* the red, but you have shown me that I dont need to keep it. I've got a Gator Green JT. I see a new project in my future. Nice job, thanks for posting. Did you do much, if any, prep before painting?
  6. FABTECH OR JCR OVERHEAD CONSOLE FITMENT WITH SUNRIDER

I did the JCR with a sunrider. I prob can't get ya pics until tomorrow, but I may have posted some on here quite a while ago, I'll look. It's possible with some modding. If you drive a Jeep, you can do the mod. Edit: Found this thread. Has the pics I referenced. It's been a while since I did...
  7. Alucab RTT Aero Mod

Definitely looks faster. Ergo: it is. Good work.
  8. Which cap is having rust issues?

Good point about the east coast/salty air. I live in the desert, rusting here is generally not a problem, but i like to travel to CO as much as I can. I checked the RLD site, and, well, something is going on for sure. Thank you for the heads up on that one! I had been looking at pics and...
  9. Which cap is having rust issues?

I thought some folks were posting pics on one of the topper threads that their hardware has started to rust. It was either the RSI or RLD...I thought. A couple of those threads are so long I cannot find the pics. I'm mostly wanting to know which brand it was. However, seeing some of the...
  10. Light Selection Help

Running backlighting, IMO, you'd be fine. BUT BUT BUT...i dont know the laws in your state. I could run a DRL on the LP6's i have and i wouldn't think twice and i dont know the law regarding forward lighting in my state. In my top pic, if you look below the BD logo on the cover you can see some...
  11. Light Selection Help

I'm not quite sure what your intent is. To mount anything that is street legal, output wise, on a hoop would be for looks only and not do anything for function, possible. However, as someone else mentioned, laws regarding how many lights you can have on at any given time can vary. What you also...
  12. Plastic fender fasteners

By the time i replied to the first reply there were the others as well. Thank to all for the quick replies! Now i can finish the project. Cheers, j-
  13. Plastic fender fasteners

I removed the fender liner to get access to the ESS battery. Along the outside edge of the fender a type of fastener is used that i was not familiar with. It looks like a plastic rivet. Searching the local auto stores I'm finding fasteners that look like they'd work, but I'm not sure. I dont...
  14. Operation Genesis was a huge success

Looking up NAPA batteries at my closest stores, it looks like they have 2 full size batteries in stock but the motorcycle battery is Out of Stock! For $100 i'd just as soon go ahead and replace it while i have this thing apart.
  15. Operation Genesis was a huge success

Thanks so much SP. Then I may go ahead and replace both at this time so I can do some more research. Thank you for your input, I'll be more critical of the setup till this fall. Is replacing both batts at this time a necessity in your opinion? Not just the main? Thank you again
  16. Operation Genesis was a huge success

What do y'all think about this? My battery is dead as of yesterday so i need to get something going tomorrow. I plan on doing the Genesis upgrade but not until it cools off a bit where i am, next to the sun, in AZ. I would like to get a battery tomorrow so i can get my Jeep back up and running...
  17. American Adventure Lab Overhead Molle with Bestop Sunrider

And I figured what the heck, a couple hero shots. The first one is Last Dollar Rd outside Telluride. The second one is where they filmed True Grit, the real one, not the 'remake'. aka: fake one. I love this top.
  18. American Adventure Lab Overhead Molle with Bestop Sunrider

TG, if you do get the Sunrider be sure to check out this thread if you have not seen it yet. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/bestop-sunrider-adjustment.28495/
  19. American Adventure Lab Overhead Molle with Bestop Sunrider

Selfmod, oh yeah! A mallet was involved in my 'mod' also. I used a dremel and went through a couple little discs. Obviously, when working with plastic, it's a fine line between cutting and melting. The JCR is the rack I have also. https://www.jcroffroad.com/product/JLOMP-PC.html The AAL...
  20. American Adventure Lab Overhead Molle with Bestop Sunrider

I dont have the same overhead molle system you posted, I have one that only goes from the windshield to the hardtop. If i can find the mfg i'll post the link, i dont remember who's it is. I also have the Sunrider and the pair do work together. However, i did need to do a bit of 'modding' to...
