It wasn't "peoples posts"; it was a single person's post.
I do make that much. E.g., the Alaskan moose hunt in my avatar cost about $30K. Tell me another way if you know about those things. This separate bear hunt cost about the same:
I bought 120 acres in Colorado recently.
Point is...
I make over $500K per year. It's not envy. It's just that I don't believe that you have bought and sold over 200 vehicles in the last 20 years, and are complaining about some scratches on this forum.
Do you really claim that you have bought and sold over 200 vehicles in the last 20 years...
"Hundreds," by definition, means at least two hundred. You've bought and sold more than 10 vehicles per year? Almost or more-than one-per month, every month, for 20 years? Sorry, but I don't believe it. If you had the money to do that for a full 20 years, with all of the money you would have...
Mine is: blower speed doesn’t matter, whatever it is; dual mode is on; auto is not engaged.
Mine will often blow baking hot at 60-degree setting. After a while, in under 40-degree outside temps, it will settle in so that the 84-degree setting blows cold.
So, when doing long highway driving in...
"The only problem I've had is that when you measure the top of the tire to the ground they are right at 34" high (supposed to be 35") and I bought a Rough Country programmer to re-program the tire size. I had to program 32.75 …"
I resized to 35s at the dealer, and I'm spot on. Rough Country...
Unfortunately, it’s not that interesting.
Tire manufacturers give the diameter of the tire unmounted as a spec.
If not, would you choose the diameter spec to be:
1. a 2,000-lb Suzuki inflated to 65-psi; or
2. a 9,000-lb F-350 inflated to 33-psi?
They measure the tire before any...
Dude, the bottom of the tire is compressed under a load when mounted. Did you measure your 5th matching spare (if you have one) or your mounted tires before they were mounted? The spec dimension of the tire is when it is not mounted. When you put 1/4 of a 5,000-lb vehicle on it, the bottom...
Mine is aligned as indicated below and drives like a dream – way better than stock.
I’m no alignment guru. I welcome any comments from Rock Krawler or anyone else as to whether those alignment specs are good to go.
Not if you get the RK lift kit.
Right. My Rock Krawler JT 3” Pro-X “No Limits” kit replaced all eight stock control arms with eight adjustable control arms.
It's good for up to 1/2" cable. My 82' rope is 3/8" synthetic. Read your post, and thought about it, but I can't think of a reason how it wouldn't work. The rope won't spin around the pulley when taught like steel does?
I was trying to get this done with respect to that 12V outlet up front and/or to the 3-prong plug-in behind my consol.
I got the local Jeep dealer service department to look into it. They said that you could do that easily on JKs and (I think) JLs, by merely moving one fuse to another spot in...
