Yes, see my window sticker..
I'm thinking your right..Maybe a gear change would be the best way to go but even so, I could prolly get around the country with the standard S tow pkg and 3.73's..
Wow, did I F up buying this Gladiator?.. Since buying it a year ago, I have this dream of retiring in an RV, either small motorhome or a tow behind with the Jeep..The Airstream is fully "loaded" at 4300lbs, (so they say..water, fuel, oil, excess shit) and yes, need to be mobile on a daily basis...
I have the standard tow package, auto trans and 3.87 gearing rated at 4500 lb max on my 2020 Sport S..Would that be adequate to tow an Airstream Basecamp (4300lb) while touring the country fulltime in retirement?..Of course I'd like to to tour the Rockies etc:..The dealer told me it would be $4k...
It's something in the JT because my '17 Ram was flawless..The few dropouts were consistent but the JT system is garbage..Between the poor steering, brakes, and now this, I'm regretting my purchase..
My Gladiator is unlistenable because of all the dropouts..Where to start to solve this problem?
My previous vehicle (2017 Ram 1500) had no issues..The very few it had were consistent with my local terrain..
Is there a better aftermarket antenna?..a booster?...Maybe its an internal issue with...
Thanks..I did have it checked..It rides "loose" they told me..On the highway I'm constantly correcting to keep it straight..Looking down at the nav screen for a second causes lane changes..As mentioned, not happy with it at all..And can I say pressing the brake pedal is like pushing your foot...
My JT wanders all over the place..I wouldn't have bought it had I given it a test drive..With that said, I installed a Fox ATS stabilizer and it went into full on death wobble when hitting potholes at 55+..It helped the wandering a little but was useless in the end..Not happy with the JT at...
You've described what I had exactly..A dead spot at center that was loose and needed constant correction to keep the vehicle heading straight..Just glancing at the radio or dash was a chore because of the loose center..WAY too much play for a new modern vehicle..But what I'm finding out is that...
Thanks for the reply..
When the DW happened, it was at 70 mph and I thought something had broken underneath, it was that violent..I initially didn't know what was going on..I immediately thought the new stabilizer snapped somehow..
Why would Mopar allow this to go out like this?..If this has...
I have 400 miles on my Gladiator. I recently replaced the stabilizer with a new Fox unit. The stock vehicle “wandered” all over the road and I just couldn’t deal with it. The Fox stabilizer tightened the steering up perfectly. But now I have major DW and don’t know what to do. Jeep will probably...
Excellent..I'll be putting one in..The loose steering was a deal breaker for me after test driving..I needed a week to think about it and made the decision to live with it..It's disappointing to say the least..And of course Jeep will have it all fixed in the 2021 model!
So I have the hard top only..Since I won't need a soft top until summer, I'm assuming all the major manufacturers will be coming out with a soft top?..This is my 1st Jeep and trying to learn all I can about mods..
